for some reason when i got the ebay kit,, when i put the thrust bearings/ washer in it jammed up like that.. i then bought a used oem shaft that came with a plastic thrust bearing that is thicker then the metal ebay one is. it now spins freely,,, remember to lube your pump up unless you wanna be doing this.. the proper tool to press the bearings in is 80$ alone.. there is other ways of replacing them as well. got a roughly riden rental ski with 50 hours had loss of pump oil and locked up at full throttle and threw the crank right out of the block,,,
The edge and orings should use loctite 518 (or permatex equivalent), not black rtv. Also, i also re-used old thrust washer as mine was too thick as well. Also, you need to use loctite 518 around the surface of the oil seal and put grease inside the lip as per the manual.
No the new thrust washers from the kit I bought was a diffrent thickness then the original one I just re used the original thrust washer . Side note are you Ron Beauchamp son? Turn left!!

Muchas gracias amigo. Muy bien explicado y facil de entender. Ni siquiera necesité usar el traductor.

Good afternoon, what oil do you use to put the black oil bottle in the jet cone, what is it and what grade?
It's just some canadain tire outboard gear oil it's just 80w-90
Nice job man!
I heard the Yamaha's come with a Pratt and Whitney F119 PW 5000 jet propulsion unit. Only one though... is this comparable?
Yes faster then any boat out of the water
You're driving down the highway on a jet ski, when a wheel falls off. How many pancakes does it take to cover a doghouse?
@@genderization 6 er 9
Purple, cuz Ice Cream has no bones....
Great vid man thanks! Lots of details here you don’t find on other vids.
How did you pound those two bearings out? Pound outside in or from inside out?
From the inside out if you do it the other way it will be hard to get out
Thanks
What happens if you put the wear ring with the lip down 😅
It won't seal properly to the hull when you put your pump back on and could cause power loss wile riding
😅 men going to have to buy another one 🤦♂️ didn’t notice until I went back and read the book and new oil as well 😅 🤦♂️
2 more videos coming out this week be sure to check them out as well thanks guy's
Can't pound it and hold the camera at the same time? Rookie.. lol jk thanks for the vid
is my ride supposed to just come out like that
Your ride? You mean the impeller shaft?
Same shaft you just didnt install it right

That's not rebuilding a jet pump that's just replacing the shaft and racer bearing
And wear ring. That is rebuilding the jet pump lol
