Great video, Bill! It’s helpful to see all the components one needs to complete the build laid out so clearly. I look forward to part 3!
hello bill, I just ordered the LED light strips at the inkjetmall shop with your discount code! Thank you so much!! A greeting from Rome, Italy!
Fantastic!
Will be interesting to see that all come together
Thanks Bill. As always...very much appreciated.
Thanks, Paul! Part 3 coming soon!
Super, merci . Bientôt la partie 3 ?
any news on the part 3 video yet? great video.
Hi Kevin! Thanks for asking. I am working on it and hopefully getting it out before the next delivery of boxes. Stay tuned and thank you for your patience!
Has the Part 3 Video been posted yet?
Bonjour Bill , bientôt la partie « assemblage » de l’insoleuse UV ?
hi bill. please show us your hot press to flatten the paper.... i love your work! Ciao from the South of italy
Thank you, Giovanni! Will do. Stay tuned.
Good video! -- By the way, those "pole strips" you refer to are traditionally called "barrier strips" or "terminal strips". The desoldering plunger is traditionally called a "solder sucker". really!
Thank you! And thanks for helping me with my terminologies a bit. I tend to get tongue-tied at points. Thanks again! The solder sucker was really fun to use.
Hi Bill, I have come across your channel recently and I am really enamored by your no nonsense approach and the fact that your instructional videos contain zero fluff.
I have a question concerning the UV box you're making: whereas it seems to be an elegant solution, it's mind boggling to spend over $1k on a light box. It seems that a MUCH cheaper solution would have been to use CFL bulbs that screw into a standard socket, plug those into your darkroom timer and you'd be all set. Sure, it's not as neat as what you've made, but it would only run $50 instead of $1000. Why didn't you take that route?
Thanks
How's the final video going? Coming out soon? thanks
Any idea when pt 3 will come out? Been eagerly waiting. Thanks
So sorry to be taking my time on this one. There are a million little edits and three cameras to sync and I have been having a very slow time of putting it together. Probably about halfway through now, so hopefully soon. Thanks for your patience!
@@BillSchwab thanks for all the hard work and for passing along the knowledge. I’m currently in the beginning stages of building an etching press so this will be my next project when I’m done! All the best
Hi Bill, considering ordering the box but not clear how many of the LED light strip reels are needed from InkJET Mall for the build? Also, has anyone tried their pre-assembled LED exposure plates, with the strips installed and pre-wired, I believe? Thanks.
Hi bill I've just bought most of the components for the led exposure unit apart from the timer is the timer 12volt.can I purchase a similar timer on amazon. thanks.
Another question: How do you order the light strips? I don't see the specs in terms of spacing, total length required and any other measurements needed to order them properly from InkJet Mall. Can anyone who's already built this offer some guidance? Thank you.
How many LED reels do I need to buy?
Three reels will do it
