Sometimes parents feel overwhelmed and need to let it out. Even after saying how she felt she still tried to help her daughters relationship.

Naomi's behavior is an exact reflection of them hitting her. It makes kids feel distant and unloved, you can see her desperately going back to her parents saying basically "love me! Love me! I actually cringed at just how hard the mother paddled her children to the point that she was wailing on their backsides. The fact that she’s a nurse midwife is terrifying.
Clearly she doesn’t practice that same level of care in her own home. I certainly wouldn’t want her with me if I was in labor.

I can imagine so. When I saw the episode, I wondered about that. I would think it to be not good judgement. They needed assistance, but to receive it in front of the world is not prudent.
They may regret being on “Supernanny”, but just imagine what those children’s lives would have been like if they hadn’t.

Maybe that's what she's taking. The mom sounds zombied out with that soft annoying voice, yet barking orders to her husband. He was totally frustrated with her calling the shots, but wouldn't say anything. He seemed hen pecked and didn't want to confront her. The mom scared me. I feel so bad for the kids, especially Naomi.

Many suspect the mother is taking tranquilizers and seems zoned out alot and seems to be self medicating herself which is wrong and serious! Hopefully we're wrong but it's how it seems
