Fern is such a consumate professional. This is so hard! No audience?! It's so difficult to perform when no one is reacting to what you're saying. It takes such incredible focus. Having a bad audience is almost better than performing to an empty room. But she's killing the other comedians sitting at the back of the hall. Brava Fern!

We can't *hear* people laughing, it doesn't mean it didn't happen. I think we only have Fern's microphone, no audience mike.
