In a 1970s interview Evans said humbly, "I'd rather be remembered than be rich." I believe he meant that. ❤

Great film is few and far between in America. With some great exceptions, They’ve made few good movies since the 1980s. Hollywood is the true shit hole

Well definitely a great film producer and charismatic man.
However....I once went to see him at Paramount for a meeting on a project I was interested in.
He kept on disappearing to the bathroom and was clearly taking voluminous amounts of cocaine. I was very shaken and told my friends it was the only time in my life I felt in the presence of something demonic.
Clearly an extraordinarily gifted man but with a very dark side.
