A lot of people don't understand steroid use. Rumble is such a good example. I've been an mma fan for about 20 years and I honestly don't remember some of these fighters being hated, especially Rashad. I've seen thousands of fights, so I guess I might've just forgotten. But, I feel that of everyone on this list, Cris Cyborg is still pretty hated currently. I know it's not across the board, but it feels like more people (at the very least) dislike her more than like her.
To be fair, “she looked like Wanderlei Sliva in a dress and hells” was pretty funny, one of my favourite Dana white quotes. But cyborg was an absolute beast
yknow the more we look back on Maia v. Anderson the more Silva looks like a genius the way he fought that night cuz engaging with Maia was rolling the dice on a chess game you want no part of
Silva was still being unnecessarily disrespectful to Maia and clowned around like a jackass. Demian Maia is one of the most respectful guys in MMA, and for Anderson to be an absolute arsehole to him just baffles me. Anderson also outright refused to engage in the final rounds of the fight even going as far to hide behind the referee while a visibly frustrated Demian Maia was the only one actually doing something.
@@madgavin7568 yea I totally respect that read of the fight but again look at it from an intentional game-plan point of view from Anderson's perspective, Maia is crafty as hell at turning most striking engagements into an opportunity to get a hold of you plus Anderson is a counterstriker, so first of all this was REALLY BAD matchmaking, there was NO WAY these 2 fighters would deliver anything of interest but secondly Anderson's best and really only play to win was to try to disrespect Maia to the point he triggers him into frustrated offensive attacks that Anderson could capitalize on - it sucked to watch but it was literally the only move to make in a high level master chess match and you likely would have made the same choice given the variables yknow
@@ottebya Silva outclassed Maia so much on the feet he had the opportunity to finish the fight more than once, but he chose not to and wanted to humiliate Maia instead. Something that didn't earn him the respect of fans and least of all Dana White who as we all know was pissed off and embarrassed by Anderson's performance. I understand Anderson's strategy of wanting no part of Demian Maia's ground game, as Maia is probably one of the most dangerous grapplers in MMA. At the same time though, Anderson had no excuse to clown around like a jackass and not finish the fight.

I thought Chael would be number 1 on this list. He's always had a fan base, but he had just as many haters. Not everyone liked his shit talk at first, they crucified him when he failed a drug test, and he won everyone back over because he was honest about his usage, he admitted to his mistakes, and he always showed up to fight the very best in the world. While i'm not a huge fan of his opinions on his podcast, i think it's helped people warm up to him even more. Plus he's still undefeated and undisputed.
Chael failed like 4 drug tests and was mad racist early on. I like his podcast but he's just another rich kid from the suburbs of West Linn pretending to be rural.
I can't see how anyone topped bisping. From everyone in the world celebrating his knockout by Hendo, to everyone in the world being deliriously happy with his KO of rockhold, it was quite a turnaround

I was a Rampage fan so i was supposed to hate Rashad, but there rivalry was amazing. I just liked them both. There season was one of the Best of TUF and probably the last good one.
He was hated early in his career. When he fought Chuck everyone wanted Chuck to knock him out and that's what was expected, only for Rashad to brutally knock out Chuck and beat him at his own game. The arena was so quiet you could hear Rashad's wife screaming like a banshee.
I really liked Rashad, until I saw the way he walked into UFC98. He had this arrogance about him, like he'd won the fight before it even began. It was instant dislike from that point - the way Machida murdered him felt like karma. TUF10 changed my opinion of him again though, as he came across as a really good dude and from then on it's been impossible not to respect him.
@@RobertSmith-le8wp Rumble's talent was wasted at 170. Had he begun his MMA career at 185 he would have had much more success before it became too difficult for him to make weight there. We could have seen Rumble fight Hendo, Franklin and Anderson.

Me too lol
Biased*
Just like the UK judges.
@@I_AM_BAYTOR he beat Silva you bum stop crying about it.
@@r.2zz192 Well no, Silva gave Bisping the fight by coasting for 70% of the fight and acting like a jackass when he should have been laying down finishing shots after that knee instead of jumping on the fence. Silva definitely got the better of him but Bisping did win on scorecards through sheer activity. Wasn't referring to that fight.
The voice reminds me on like in a nutshell or something lol great vid!
1:59 Why Trigg look like Bruce buffer there😂😂
LMAO
Neck chop!!
Funny thing Trigg and Bruce Buffer fought in a hotel elevator before! Lol can’t remember why, but Buffer held his own according to witnesses
@@Day-ZDuke yup I seen that!! Dana was right there too lmao
Rashad has changed so much, love that guy now.
Watching Rashad's fall from grace was just sad, much different a decade earlier when he was hated and everyone wanted Chuck to knock him out... only for Rashad to brutally KO Chuck.
No one forgot Bisping was hated. Although I've always loved him such a beautiful man.
He's a legend. UK bias maybe...🏴
The incredible thing about bisping is even people who still don’t like him have to admit he’s a genuine and funny guy, decent commentator as well
@@pstratos7 He is, but I'll never forgive him for ruining the Middleweight division when he was champion. Ducked Jacare, Yoel and Moose to get revenge on Dan Henderson who was ranked #13 at the time and 46 years old which very nearly backfired.
@@madgavin7568 I hear you and agree, was really hoping hendo would win that rematch
@@pstratos7 Same here, and in my opinion the fight was either a draw or a win for Hendo. Great fight, but sucked to see Hendo not walk away with a UFC belt.
Nice to see Bayliun ✌️
10 fighters who played in movies! That would be a good one
GSP in The Winter Soldier and Gina Carano in Deadpool 😬
@@atomicpunk2360 don't forget Michael bisping and max holloway in den of thieves
And don't forget the man himself Bob tap Nao or snap Sapp in blood and bone
Damn, that Dan Aykroyd timing was 10/10. 👌🏼
People with respect for meritocracy still despise Bisping for absolutely demolishing the 185 division. He single-handedly ruined what could have been the division's most competitive period and many elite fighters were robbed of the opportunity to rightfully compete for the belt.
Who?
This man is speaking facts.
Great video, love the page!
This dude's voice should make the List 😂
A lot of people don't understand steroid use. Rumble is such a good example. He's a genetic freak and stays fit all year round - when he was out of the UFC he more or less openly admitted to being on gear and you see the results. Not everyone who looks insane is on steroids, not everyone on steroids looks insane. Let's all remember that Barnett and Tim Sylvia were far from Adonis's
Frank Trigg was knocked out in an elevator in Vegas by none other than Bruce Buffer, true story.
Not true...Bruce buffer swung for him and connected before they were split up, earning triggs respect, never knocked him out
Not a true story. They got in a little dust up, nothing more.
Bisping was my most hated fighter and became one of my all time favorites after the Chael robbery. Now it’s hard to ever root against The Count, even though he’ll never fight again.
I've been an mma fan for about 20 years and I honestly don't remember some of these fighters being hated, especially Rashad. I've seen thousands of fights, so I guess I might've just forgotten. But, I feel that of everyone on this list, Cris Cyborg is still pretty hated currently. I know it's not across the board, but it feels like more people (at the very least) dislike her more than like her.
especially rashad. i agree. i was like WTF. and rechecked the title of the video.
Especially Silva
Incredible stuff guys!!
To be fair, “she looked like Wanderlei Sliva in a dress and hells” was pretty funny, one of my favourite Dana white quotes. But cyborg was an absolute beast
Nunes beating her up was crazy. I knew Amanda was a bad ass but never expected that kinda beat down
To be fair, she actually does look like Wanderlei Silva in a dress and heels.
@@joshlewis575 the moment she exchanges punches with Amanda that I knew she gonna get Wrecked!
Yes a absolute steroid eating beast
Well she certainly takes steroids intended for beasts like cattle and race horses
Great video! 💪

yknow the more we look back on Maia v.
@@madgavin7568 yer probably right, I do need to rewatch that fight. although Dana White's opinions on things is the furthest from proof of anything (hehe) yer other points sound spot on
Hughes picking up Trigg after recovering form the knee and ground and pound is an iconic MMA moment.
I always thought sexiyama was cool thought the nickname was funny and then my first exposure to him was the leaben fight so he was presented well to me from the get go
That is awesome Trigg is a ref now! I had no idea
I was always cheering for Rashad, idk if he was hated throughout his whole career
I was a Rampage fan so i was supposed to hate Rashad, but there rivalry was amazing. I just liked them both. There season was one of the Best of TUF and probably the last good one.
@@AdairCorbin facts💯
He was hated. I do remember laughing my ass of when he told Rampage he would buy him a snuggy for after he slept him in the coach fight.
I swear that the DC love hate relationship went exactly as you described it for me..
How on earth was Rumble Johnson a welterweight.
He said he about died making weight. I remember before they cut him he missed weight at middleweight by 11 pounds
@@RobertSmith-le8wp cutting to middleweight was a bad idea no less welterweight.
@@RobertSmith-le8wp Rumble's talent was wasted at 170. Had he begun his MMA career at 185 he would have had much more success before it became too difficult for him to make weight there. We could have seen Rumble fight Hendo, Franklin and Anderson.
Without a doubt one of the world's greatest mysteries. Legend has it they would amputate his legs for the weigh in and rush him to the hospital after to remove the prosthetics and reattach the originals.
BABY BOI it's Bisping - no surprise there lol
I don’t think Colby Covington will ever make this list haha
I beg to differ
Colby is quite entertaining if you keep in mind everything he does is a gimmick, a character, that being said i cheered a lot when usman broke his jaw
2:11 looks like Joe Rogan interviewing himself from the future
15:32 i guess theres a new division called light middleweight guys

When are we getting Top 10 Houses Sold by Al Iaquinta?
These videos need to be this long more often 😅
Usman has made a huge turnaround lately also
I never disliked Silva for being boring, in fact I tend to side with fighters that are broadly considered boring cause the just bleed crowd among MMA fans absolutely sucks. It was the disrespectful showboating I didn't like in the beginning, and later it was the fact that he used PEDs that made me lose respect even though I had been somewhat of a fan for most of his UFC career.
How fans ever disliked Cormier, especially when compared to Jon Jones, is beyond me. Same as I don't see how Rockhold is any worse than Bisping ever was and, in my opinion, always remained.
Anyway, even though she was booed at the time, how satisfying is it to see Cyborg KO Gina Carano when watching the fight back today lmao
