Nice work, interesting video. The eclipse is never ending where I live. I live in NY and I would say it is right up there with corruption and madness. I would say it is a tie. Sadly. We do have a nice local train shop, for the moment. Best wishes!
Hi Steven, I have spoken with you about painting our trains before. Sometimes it is hard to get excellent results or the results we want. A modeler once told me to strive for a three foot model. When I asked what is a three foot model, he said from three feet you cannot see any discrepancies. Have a nice day. Regards, Chuck
LOL--Yeah--in the video I point out where the disturbance is and said it was on the other side---LOL---I was wrong--it was where I was pointing at---I was up looking at it this morning and turned it to the side I thought it was on and couldn't find it---What the hell I thought ---it was on the side that was facing me the whole time---a rubber stamp will bury it -----the panel on the front is a little more obvious but the right rubber stamp will bury it too ---I have one for the job I think--if not, I'll make one. This Brunswick Green by Rust-Oleum is a great paint---easy to shoot and dries quickly----I'm gone for a few week so by the time I get back the paint should be hard as nails---I'm packing my Jeep today--but I may try to shoot the roof before I leave in the morning and hope it goes on smooth and I get no blisters. I'm so damn close to sticking a fork in it and calling it done.
The green came out good---BUT----I have to be like a good doctor and bury my two small mistakes------I think the rubber stamping will achieve that goal--I was going to us stamps on it anyhow, so if I'm lucky--rubbing stamping is not easy for me, the stamp will serve two purposes.

Very nice paintjob as far as I can tell. The green looks good. Looking forward to its black roof.
