Thank you! I'm definitely trying to spice up these episodes! Feel free to watch the previous episodes to catch up on Portson, last episode was even bigger than this one to be honest 💥
Wow, if the great Diana clicked my video it must've been good! Would you believe it if I told you more lanes didn't work 😭 Stay tuned, major infrastructure episode in the works!
Yes the algorithm is working for sure! I definitely appreciate you watching! Currently working on the next episode as we speak! 😊 I definitely recommend catching up on the rest of the Portson series if you want to catch up before the next upload 🙏🏽
Your highways should be placed on a birm about 10-15 up instead of as bridges. This would give you your hight clearance and only makes bridges where nessisary. Looks realistic and is cost effective for your city. I got this tip from Infrasturist, another city skylines RUclipsr. All in all great vid and it motivates me to make more cities! ❤
I appreciate the tip! Since I am modeling this off a real city, this is pretty realistic - Portland is known for blowing through their budget on less than ideal things 😂 if this were a fictional city you'd totally be right though!
Beaverton and Hayden Island would both be cool places to add. Used to live in a really old home right off TV highway near beaverton, once got to see a picture of the place from before there was much of anything else there, was kinda surreal
I actually have a photo I have ready for the Beaverton expansion of sunset highway back when it was 1 lane and farmland!! Old Portland was so cool! I’ve already got footage of me carving out swan island and getting Hayden island ready. So definitely look forward to that one! Thanks for watching as always, I appreciate you!
They definitely do. But since this is loosely based on Portland, they, like most American cities, do not use roundabouts - so I’d like to stay true to that for this build.
Welcome on in! Definitely appreciate the support. Portland has probably changed alot since you were there, but regardless it is still a great city! Definitely check out the previous Portson episodes if you haven't already - to catch up on the progress made! 😁
i thought in the beginning that video was made by a popular content creator bcs of the nature of how good the vid. dude keep doing this thing and ull be up there... if you're not already
Same here! I figured I’d start my city building journey on a city I actually understand haha. I definitely encourage you to go back and start from Episode 1 and catch up if you want to be caught up for future episodes 😁 The whole playlist is linked in the description
A lot of people are asking for this one haha. I can’t wait to finish Portson & move onto other cities. Seattle has ALOT of cool stuff I’ll have to learn about 😂
Great video I love the short style of a city episode. It keeps it more engaging and less time consuming. Thanks for the history lesson as well.

This already has me hooked 2 seconds in, BUILD THOSE LANES 🎉
Wow, if the great Diana clicked my video it must've been good! Would you believe it if I told you more lanes didn't work 😭 Stay tuned, major infrastructure episode in the works!
Love to see a high quality channel with not many subscribers. That means it's only up from here! Great videos dude
Now that is the best comment to wake up to! How uplifting, thank you!!! 🥳 I'm working on more content as we speak!
Algorithm working its magic. I fw the shorter style here: condensed, and easy to absorb. Keep it up!

Roundabouts work well in managing traffic
They definitely do. But since this is loosely based on Portland, they, like most American cities, do not use roundabouts - so I’d like to stay true to that for this build.
Just found your channel. Used to live in Portland. Looking forward to watching this series.

After Portland could you do sacramento
That sounds wicked! I actually was actually contemplating doing California next, just wasn’t sure where 🙌🏽
Do the Oregon Trail
That sounds awesome - not even sure what that would look like o_O
time-lapse making me dizzy lowkey. dope city tho bruh
Haha thank you! I’m working on showing more city but speeding it up less! Working on the next video as we speak 😊
There is a mod to change color of assets, can't remember the name though
I will have to do some research then! If you ever remember the name, let me know please, I’d appreciate it a lot! 😁
@@WestCoastBuilder it is called "recolor"
Just tried it out and it doesn’t seem to work on roads or bridges. Nice eye though! If the mod ever supports roads this would be perfect!
@@WestCoastBuilder oh, my bad!
