- A NEW rollercoaster, Replacement trains, + More all potentially coming to Drayton manor in the coming years! Recently a document has been found on Lichfield councils website from Drayton Manor, giving us a insight into the looping groups five year plan for Drayton Manor! The document gives us a insight into what could be coming to Drayton Manor from 2023 right through until 2026. 2024 is looking to be a HUGE year at the park with a potential NEW roller coaster and in 2023 replacement vehicles on a existing ride! The looping group have BIG plans for Drayton Manor so lets take a look at them! Unfortunately I cant show you the documents HOWEVER if you look in the comments you may just find a link!

Drayton Manor rides:
Shockwave
Originally called the '7up Shockwave'. Shockwave is Europe’s first intamin stand-up roller coaster and is still only one of two in Europe. This exhilarating, white-knuckle ride opened in 1994, and is the only stand-up roller coaster with a zero-gravity roll.
Stormforce 10
You're out at sea and a huge storm is building on the horizon, threatening to send your boat on a wild, white-knuckle ride like no other. Your mission? To survive Stormforce 10, a heart-stopping, three-drop water ride with a twist that will thrill any adrenalin junkie.
River Rapids
The young and young-at-heart will be taken on a journey through a cartoon-style fishing port, on their very own boat around a rapids course, past vibrant painted shacks and seafarers.
Thor
Introducing the eagerly awaited Disk'O Coaster. Thor is a new vibrantly coloured family thrill ride, named after the infamous god of thunder. It will send those brave enough to board spinning in a giant wheel across a coaster track for the ultimate weightless sensation.
Accelerator
The coaster begins with a big drop before you speed around our twisting, turning track at high speeds. Then you do the whole thing again - backwards!
Maelstrom
Maelstrom is a stomach-churning, head-turning gyro swing that will have thrillseekers on the edge of their seats. You'll face outwards as you're raised into the sky, gaining massive height with every arc before you plunge towards the ground.
Loki
Introducing the UK’s first Zamperla Nebulaz. Loki is a family thrill ride with eight gondolas and four arms rotating in a fast-intermeshing orbit. Inspired by the malevolent god of mischief, Loki will send passengers soaring to new heights, offering a truly hypnotic experience from both the sky and ground.
Air Race
Climb into a plane and take off on a mind-bending journey through the skies as you swoop and plunge, fly and race. But riders be warned - this isn't an adventure for the fainthearted!

• Various projects within Drayton Manor Zoo to redevelop existing enclosures
2024
• New rollercoaster within Drayton Manor Park
• Replacement ride within Drayton Manor Park
• Replacement cars on an existing ride within Drayton Manor Park
• Raised walkway between Thomas Land along the railway tracks connecting to Drayton Manor Zoo.
2025
• Relocate a ride within Drayton Manor Park and introduce a new round platform ride
to the vacated spot
2026
• Install holiday lodges originally proposed in 2016 to the south-west of the Drayton Manor Hotel.

I really hope the stand-up element stays on Shockwave. It’s really the main ride at the park now with apocalypse gone.

Because shockwave’s track is similar to B&M track it might be able to get the new surf coaster trains
They need to add some intensity, I know they want to make it a family park but They got to add some thrill factor to it, otherwise for local enthusiasts of the park will get bored of the park, therefore lowering attendance and since Alton towers have a better family line up I personally think it would be the best to just stay with the nature of the park, and I swear to god if they replace apocalypse with something boring there will be an uproar on social media and in news papers

For me the perfect fit for drayton manor for family thrill would be either a gerstlauer family coaster like Wakala or Pegase Express or an Intamin blitz in the style of cheetah hunt or Hagrids

I'm thinking 2024 is new theme area, new rollercoaster replacement for drunken barrels and new cars / retirement of accelerator. Then relocation of flying dutchman to viking in 2025. 2023 is new log flume in thomasland. Wonder if shockwave is getting the cars in 2023?

I feel that Drayton manor should go for a Mack multi launch with 3 launches. But obviously targeted at a younger audience.

I Think They Should Add A Vekoma Junior Coaster 335 Into Adventure Cove.
That would be cool to see, however there is not a lot of space unless they remove/move another ride!
I feel like Merlin theme parks should own the park and bring back thrills

I think the flying dutchman ride will be rethemed and moved to the viking area and a new ride put in its place. I think the cars on the dark shooting ride are going to be replaced.

Shockwave sadly cant have 2 trains. the brake run is too short to do so
