we got a whole farm full of molines most of em propane talked to a collector in Crosby nd the other day he said they are rare and higher value if they are propane but i don't plane on selling them its what made America and they ment alot to my great grandpa
I grew up on the farm near and had a peak inside the minneapolis moline factory. No one I knew bought anything from MM. When asked why, I usually got a shoulder shrug and a few comments like. crude design, poor workmanship, just a bad investment. Of course oliver got the same. Its good that some people are saving these old tractors.
from personal experience(with old tractors). nothing is as pleasant to operate for long hours that a twin cylinder john deere.the vibration of the multi cylinder(4 or more) gets tiresome.
Old '53 UTU was the very first thing I drove. I was 7yo and had to mow the lower-20. I had a blast!!
Mt very first tractor is a 1966 mm g 1000 got it from my uncle I love that tractor. Long live Minneapolis moline
Good to see the old stuff in action, thanks for posting much appreciated.
That brings back memories. My dad had a 41 straight block U like the first one in this clip, except it was a wide front with the big rear fenders.
nice video.we had a Z on the farm.many yrs ago.

I don't think any of those tractors pulled at this show. Sorry.
Gotcha. The wife's family operates a ranch in SE OK, still using quite a bit of MM equipment. I enjoy operating the M670 Super. A fine old tractor.
I love MM's
You and me both
