Basically, the album before WINGS was about youth so the new one , WINGS, is about the transition into adulthood. This comeback was heavily influence by a German book called Demian which talks about the same sort of transition; how you must let go of your sweet childlike self and deal with the temptations of evil in the world to be an adult. In BS&T, the painting Jin looks at is The Fall of Rebel Angels, which depicts when angels rebelled against God and were banished to Earth/Hell. Many say that the two chandeliers represent Jin(pink haired guy) and V(blonde haired guy), as V fooled innocent and pure Jin to make a deal with him - the devil with ripped wings - surrendering himself to temptation and letting go of the innocence of youth to know the evil and struggle of the world, which marks his entering into adulthood. (That is why he kisses the statue, because you must kiss the devil to seal a contract and they can't exactly show both kissing.)
You'll also note a lot of things that hint at good VS evil if you rewatch the video. Black and white doors, statues of angels and demons, the dinner was sort of a nod toward The Last Supper and so much more. The bit where the balloon is released and RM is quoting something directly from the novel Demian. This particular MV plays into their storyline but it's sort of the mid-point where you need to watch the short films to really capture the entire concept of this album. All of those songs relate TO this video but they also relate a lot into the storyline which was a genius move on their part.
@@sometimessiri.8559 also later in the song we can see two scuoltures behind white and black doors, they are statues of mythologyc God's but I can't remember which one and when it comes to dinner time, they have only apples on their plates which is symbol of sin in Bible
And Eva is represented by the statue of mother/Mary (Pieta - biblical reference, Mary holding the body of Jesus) that J-Hope is dancing in front of while splashing in the fountain.
Carrie Cole people say that Hoseok chosen to be in the scene with Mary because it connects to the BU, and Hobi has some .. ahem... mommy issues And I also think V is the “devil” because he did *spoiler alert* Kill this father
Blood sweat tears has lots to dig into....you should've watched the 7 short films + intro:boy meets evil that were released that lead up to blood sweat and tears.....this is from their WINGS album which explores a lot of themes...mainly the theme of "loss of innocence".
"manhi" means more in Korean. As about the meaning, this video is embedded in symbolism and is heavily inspired by Demian. Most of the ARMYs depend on who we call "detective ARMYs" to break it all down for us. Thank you for the video btw, it was great. The quantity you're feeding us with is unbelievable.
Why non of you guys is telling them about BTS fictional storyline that runs throughout the entire music videos. I'm sure they'll appreciate BTS more if they got into the Universe created by big hit with all the theories.
the whole mv and song is about temptation. the statue that jin kisses symbolizes Lucifer, the fallen angel. jin kissing the statue seemingly means that he’s giving into temptation and making a deal with the devil. kissing a “demon” solidifies the so called deal. the whole mv is filled to the brim with symbolism, even the painting that jin was looking at in the beginning and the drink that rm was drinking has meaning. i highly recommend you watch the 7 short story mvs from the wings era. although honestly you might get even more confused lmao. the wings story line is incredibly thought out and is related to the hyyh era storyline. which i also highly recommend starting with i need you 19+
BTS’ -“Blood Sweat and Tears” incorporated quotes and themes from Hermann Hesse’s novel “Demian,” You will thoroughly understand if you read that book. BTS is not only creating good music but also very resourceful and creative to their concept as always.
All BTS's video connect. It has a fictional story and to recreate it you have to listen to the MVs in the right order. There is millions of videos and site that explain the theory. But most of them are assumptions. We dont know the real meaning behind it all and BTS rarely talks about it. And dont worry, we are lost too most of the time😅 Love your reaction 💜💜💜
There is also a webtoon Save Me and the Notes book telling a little bit more of the BU (Bangtan Universe), though, to understand it completely you would still need to watch pretty much a majority of the MVs as well short stories, highlight reels, WINGS concert trailer, Japanese MVs (though I would not suggest reacting to those as Japanese MVs have issues with copyright), even posters have additional information.
In conclusion, this music video tells us the story of a struggle between the forces of good and evil, and Jin’s journey to accept both sides. So what is the message of this music video? Well, the forces of good and evil do not necessarily represent good and evil in this world, but tradition and innovation respectively. It can be daunting for many to transition into a new world of creativity and explore ideas differing from the norm, and many choose to remain in the safe zone of conventionality. This music video urges us to embrace innovation and take this path, yet hold on to tradition. This text is all about finding the balance between the two.
There's a lot of theories of this MV so I don't know which one to explain to you guys 😂 The MV is about *youth/boys falling into temptation and losing their innocence* . At the beginning, Jin stares at the painting, titled The Fall of The Rebel Angels by Pieter Bruegel. We know that the angels of heaven fell because of the direct rebellion against God by siding Lucifer, who corrupted the angels by sinful temptations. It is a foreshadowing of the future events to come. Jin is the focus center of the music video and is the key symbol of tempted youth. And there's the scene where Jin kisses the statue. The statue is the Demian. So it means when Jin kissed the statue, he'd already fell into temptation. A kiss often means a sealing of a contract. Some said that V is the fallen angel/ the devil that seduces Jin because you can see the scars at his back from where his wings were attached. And the album for this song is called WINGS and the fact that in the end V does not have them that is why people assumed he is the devil. There is a lot of mythological/Bible references in this MV like A LOT. I never really understand what this MV is about though because everytime I read the theories it just makes me more and more confused lol Every BTS MVs are all connected so you have to react to it in order to understand the theories better btw.
I NEED YOU (Original version) -> Prologue -> RUN -> Young Forever -> Save Me (Read Lyrics) -> Wings Short Films (There are 7 Of Them) -> Blood Sweat & Tears (Japanese MV) -> Highlight Reels -> Serendipity -> DNA -> Euphoria -> Singularity -> FAKE LOVE -> Epiphany
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THISSSSS IM SOOOO EXCITEDDDD I MEAN BST IS AN ICONIC SONG FROM A LEGENDARY ALBUM and basically the beginning of their bright era. Like Joon has said "When the power of money comes." AND IT SHOWSSSSS
Blood sweat and tears is a very symbolical song and music video. There are many biblical references in the video. For example that part of jungkook floating in air is actually a reference to the love story of Icarus and the Sun. The story tells that one day Icarus's father made wings made of wax for him, but he warned his son not to fly too high up in the sky. However, Icarus flew higher and higher, lost in his desire for being closer to the sun, therefore disobeying his father. Obviously the wax melted and he fell into the sea below and died. In the BST mv this scene is referenced to through Jungkook as we see him in a 'falling' motion rather than a floating one. BST and the album WINGS (to which the song belongs) is heavily influenced by Demian, a book which namjoon read and loved. It's a book about how youths (a certain youth actually in the story) fall into various temptations and commit sins thereby losing their childlike innocence. The painting which Jin was looking at in the beginning in the infamous painting of Fallen angels. In other words angels who betrayed God and Joined Lucifer causing a rebellion. Throughout the mv we see Jin slowly slipping away. When Jin kissed the statue with black wings it could mean that he had finally given himself away completely and therefore taehyung (the blonde guy with marks on his back that indicates the statue actually has HIS wings attached on it) smirks. I can only assume that taehyung is the Fallen angel in the video. Another biblical reference was made when Jhope shot an arrow, I forgot the story but I can assure that it's from a story. Another reference was made where the statue of virgin Mary crumbles. And so it goes on... BST is a highly artistic mv and according to me their most well thought out and deep music video. The song itself doesn't completely or neccesarily relate to the video (It is about BTS's blood Sweat and tears, in other words their hard work and passion for their art). To understand everything you gotta watch every single music related video they had released since 2015 (😂 and even then you might not understand fully, even I don't). Fun fact! BTS have their own fictional 'storyline' going on! Anyways thanks for the reaction! Loved it xX
There's a fictional story line in most bts music videos. I NEED U is the most important mv in my opinion, so you should definitely check it out. Coz blood sweat and tears came from their WINGS album, you should also check out their short films as well as their intro:boy meets evil
Y’all should check out BTS Dance practices to (fire, blood sweat and tears, idol , I need you ) love the reaction with BTS y’all have a lot of reaction
Thats why we call it "BTS music video universe" because all of their MV's are connected. It's actually genius to have this kind of concept. Every small details in all of their music videos seems like there's a meaning to it. From Korean history, tragedy, society and even their own experiences. You should try to watch xceleste explanation to some of their MV's also by DKDKTV.
Hi guys this was a great song choice! I'm a new subscriber anyway. I've backtracked all your previous reaction videos and it was all great! I don't usually subscribe to all channels that are reacting to BTS it depends on how the reactor will show their interests to the group, it was pretty amazing that you're checking the lyrics in every song as well that was very nice!😊 The most important to every BTS song is the lyrics itself the MV's visual & the choreography are just secondary. Hope you guys can react to this MV as well.. Spring day Boy in luv Danger Not Today We are bulletproof pt.2 Save me I need U
Many mvs before this led up to blood sweat and tears BUT the gist of it is that it’s very much based on the book Demian, and that movie like part in the middle is when Jin (who kissed the statue and is portrayed as Sinclair, made a deal with the devil and lost his innocence (if you see the way all the members dance and act after the movie scene it’s much more sensual) and a kiss usually is a symbol of sealing a deal, and in this MV Demian, the Devil, is played by V, the blond one who smirked (because Jin made the deal with him) before the music restarted who is a fallen angel (hence the marks on his back) and because Jin and V cannot kiss, the statue and juxtaposition was used to show what happened. Jeez that was a lot lol but I hope it helps if anyone ever sees it!! Also a friendly reminder to look up the proper order of MVs and short films to get a good understanding of the whole storyline. I also recommend you check out the webtoon “Save Me” which explains the story a whole lot better. Again, this is just a simple overview, I haven’t read Demian yet but I intend to do so soon! (And I recommend it to anyone who is interested in bts’s storyline because I heard it explains so much and is a very well written book). And also check out the short story “The ones who walk away from Omelas” (omelas appeared in bts’s spring day mv and there’s a whole explanation video for that as well that really helps but the story is very well written and is very short). Sorry for the super long comment lol I wanted to include everything hahaha much love!!
There's actually a storyline behind EVERY MV they have. that explains those extraordinary cinematography(?) in their videos. I suggest you to watch all of their MVs slowly. (don't worry. take your time. It even took us five years of waiting for every new MV) AND PLEASE WATCH FROM NOBODIES TO LEGENDS NEXT.
@@penfordmedia That's great haha! I'm looking forward to it. Also for "Blood, Sweat and Tears" exists a lot of theories. Overall you can say that the theme of the song and the overarching themes of the contiguous MVs of that era are: getting from adolescence to adulthood (from being a boy to becoming a man). RM smokes and drinks, Jimin is blindfolded in the video, he has no clear view and he lets himself be guided by others (scene in which Suga presents Jimin the blindfold). Over Sugas head during his rap scene there are fog / clouds, his thoughts are slightly clouded, concentration is heavier due to all the revealing possibilities. J-hope tries to control his fist in his solo part, so he is in himself contradictory / indecisive (possible: symbol for fight between heart and mind). V embodies evil or temptation. The whole MV repeatedly addresses all sorts of temptations that BTS can only partially resist. Jungkook as the youngest forfeits this completely, loses grip from the ground, hovers. Also the angelic metaphor, which comes from Hermann Hesse, plays into it. V as a kind of Lucifer (fallen angel aka let himself be seduced by evil) seduces Jin, who is between his youth and adulthood. He has to resist the temptations, so as not to break in the end. It's about ownership and making the right decisions. Even if it costs blood, sweat and tears, you should stand behind what you do. The "Blood, Sweat and Tears" visual is incredibly appealing, only once again to supports the whole concept of temptation. Beauty alone can dazzle and tempt one to not trust in oneself (thus, Jin lets V hide his eyes and gives up some of his self-determination).
Welcome to the theories side of BTS. It's a literature inspired side. There's an actually storyline and BTS is the masterminds of it. They actually makes us use the brain cells.
This song is the original song of the Wings album. This album is from the book Damian by Hermann Huss. This book is about a young boy who does not know which world he belongs to. Good or bad? You should read this book To understand the meaning of this song and album. This book changed my live forever. This book is with beautiful explanations drowning me in to it. It's perfect book👍♥️
So I've figured out why I like your reactions so much. You're very sincere and it reminds me of my bts firsts... those first experiences is what I think all army keep looking for and hoping to recreate. I guess we are nostalgic like that. And it helps that you're super cute.
I just love watching new ARMYS reacting to videos, it reminds of myself of how I first reacted to them. Like I've seen BS&T a hundred times and I still get chills when I watch it. And I like how you two are really opened minded to all of this. And how you want to know more. It's really nice to see. 💜💜Thanks for coming to my TED talk.💜💜 ARMYS PURPLE'S YOU AND WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT YOU 💜💜
The BTS storyline is brilliant and has references to a lot of literature and mythology. The WINGS album and Most Beautiful Moment In Life have so much going on and there are so many theories but no one really knows what is means.
(Sorry it's a bit long) Their Wings concept (the album which Blood, Sweat and Tears is from) is based on youth/boys falling into temptation and losing their innocence. This is a good continuation of their overarching concept of youth from their previous era, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, is centered around the idea of a reckless and carefree youth that leads to growing up and falling into temptation (you can see this in the I Need U and Run videos). So in TMBML we saw the boys at the prime of their free-spirited youth and hints of their downfall. Now, in Wings/Blood Sweat & Tears, we will witness their fall & one interpretation of the different ways adulthood tempts the freshly matured. The part where Namjoon (RM) Starts speaking english in the MV (the scene where its a red screen and Seokjin is holding a balloon) is a part in a book by Hermann Hesse called Demian (If you can find it I would highly recommend reading it... it's an amazing book to say the least) Edit: Also..... for pretty much all of this video they filmed on special made sets for them... Y'all should react to the behind the scenes for the making of the bst MV! Oh.....and more in Korean is pronounced mahne which sounds like money😂
Since you guys dont know much abt the storyline i will give a very short interpretation. This album is derived from a literature novel called DEMIAN which talks about the loss of innocence, temptations. The mv is covered in symbolisms of art and literature. I would just clarify the kissing scene u saw. So basically the guy (JIN) kissed the statue with black wings aka the devil. The guy without the shirt (V) is the devil as you can see his wings has been ripped off. A devil is an angel who lost wings. Jin kissing the devil means a promise or that he has admitted the side of his temptation too. He has sealed a deal with the devil. To see the storyline of bts you have to watch mvs starting from I NEED YOU 18 version, RUN , PROLOGUE VIDEO , WINGS SHORTFILMS , BOY MEETS EVIL. All these preferable with subs. Its just IF you want to get into it. BTS has a book and a webtoon talking about the story and HIGHLIGHT REELS. Its a story going from 2014 to 2018
Most ppl get confused the first time they watch "B,S, & T." The leader of the group, R.M. was reading a 100 y.o. novel called "Damien" by Hermann Hesse. That is what the video is based off of. Basically its about the struggle good and evil, or light and dark within ones self...another book he was reading was "The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas" by Ursula K. LeGuin. If and when you watch "Spring Day" keep that one in your head. R.M. has an I.Q. OF 148, he loves to read and make connections with the videos...you should also check out "Blood, Sweat, and Tears" Japanese version. The video is also connected to their story line....there is so much more to BTS you have no idea....welcome to ARMY.
I pretty much feel the same way with the 'I'm lost' comment. I love their videos, dance moves and visuals... However as much as I know that their is so much symbolism in the videos, theories and what not. I just enjoy what I'm watching and piece together what I can cuz their minds r so deep and have mad respect for those army fans that go down that rabbit hole. I can't keep up half the time with the connecting stories. Im good with knowing there is always meaning with every song they put out and love them for what they do😊
Hahaha! Your reaction is priceless! You just opened a whole can or worms that I don't think you're ready for yet, lol! Welcome to the BTS Universe where so many of the videos have deep meanings and some tie into a storyline (that is also a webtoon). Are u sure you're ready for those?? Well before you get into all that please react to Not Today, Cypher pt 4 Live at BTS Countdown, Agust D, Joke and Airplane.
The painting is about the fallen angel.google painting bts vid....black wings = devil...V is the devil that lost his wings from the kiss...and he is now part or this world...does that help a bit lol you guys are great love your reactions...but please watch the dance vids..especially for this one and fire..you will be amazed. Take a look at danger too...they are young in it but you can see how good they are.. ❤❤❤
I think the real beauty of their music is that you can take away from it what you want; you can appreciate it for the music and visuals or you can go deeper, do research and even read whole books to delve deeper into philosophy and history.
I HAVE ARRIVED! After binge watching all of your BTS reactions, I’m finally caught up! Lol. I love seeing new people fall into the BTS fandom. It’s an amazing place with amazing people, welcome to the family! You guys are so sweet and I love your reactions so far! Looking forward to more great content. 😋💜 Subscribed.
Outro Tear is awesome as well as Not Today and I need U BTS has alot of such songs that really makes you feel and know whats really happening in eqch everyday life. meaningful songs
bts in all their song videos having a story connected to each other from the first video , there is hints to find the story and drama hidden bts are always different❤️❤️❤️👏
All Army's who recommended to you this video surely waited for your reaction to that part. Haha. They already explained everything, its about temptation. Probably you already know but bts has a whole storyline from their album in 2015 until now, about youth going into adulthood, loosing their innocence, love, friendship and dreams. So you need to watch the short stories for Wings Album. Great reactions :) can't wait for more :D
BTS are known for their message which they spread by their music, the hints in some music videos link to the upcoming Mv and theme of the album and make BTS universe more clear ( BTS universe : BTS story include in their music video + some special VCR ). Blood sweat & tears & Wings short movies are inspired from '. Domain ' by Hermann Hesse. The quote RM read in this video is from the book + if you watch the wings short movies you'll find that RM read different lines from the book in each story.
The more you learn about BTS,the more you confuse..you will find a story behind everything they showed..everything connect each other,it is like puzzle to us..learning about BTS storyline is harder than learning in school..trust me
BTS brought me to your channel & now I'm subscribed to it. I watched all of your BTS-related videos already. Good stuff! Now that you've watched "Blood, Sweat & Tears", you'll start to realise that BTS music videos always have more to them than what's on the surface. There is a fictional BTS Universe storyline that runs throughout most of their music videos. I'm not expert enough to know the exact order or which music videos exactly are in the storyline. Actually, it's more like I've lost track of it already, 'cos it's pretty complex. So I guess I'll leave the list of videos to ARMYs who are more into the BTS Universe storyline and its theories. All I will say is "Welcome to the BTS rabbit hole", do you want to take the red pill or the blue pill? You're about to fall into it so deep, nothing will be the same again.
Yu have now entered the relm of the Bangtan universe. If you want to know more bout the bangtan universe you have to follow thw storyline which starts from the I need you MV or you could just see xCeleste video where she explains it all!
many ...many many. here is a korean word which mean more..... First of all, this mv is an absolute work of art. this song is somehow based on... a Book " Demian" but the video is far more than just a retelling of the book. It’s chock-full of symbolism and meaning, most of which will not be detailed. there are many video of theories but as u r new i want to give a short brief. The literal meaning of the phrase - Blood, Sweat, and Tears - is hardworking or giving to the fullest. Let's start with what BTS says. According to them, the "Wings" album is about the temptations a young adult must deal with. As the boy grows older, he becomes more aware of the good and bad (especially bad) around him. RM also explained, "The harder a temptation is to resist, the more you think about it and vacillate. That uncertainty is part of the process of growing. Blood Sweat & Tears is a song that shows how one thinks, chooses, and grows." There are also many references (like the organ, the read quote, and the german inscription) to the book Demian and Nietzsche’s theories which basically say that the inner good and evil in a person must conflict with each other before maturation. BTS' works are so complex that you can add layers and layers of extra meaning. In ARMY(BTS FANDOM) we have so many people to analysis these theories and explain to us.. It's not simple to understand at all, but I hope my answer gives you a bit of a starting point.
i’ve been loving your BTS reactions! if you think you like them now just wait until you really start to get to know them lol. BTS is always busy but they never fail to provide their fans with content so Army are always well fed and never bored. there’s dance practice videos, bangtan bombs, Run BTS! segment that shows the guys funny and real selves on this app called “VLIVE” it’s so funny seeing them outside of performances and shows. there’s also a ton of contemplation videos here on youtube. i can tell you guys are genuinely interested in them and i’m sure that makes a lot of people happy seeing people appreciating BTS hard work. keep up the good work!!!!!!!!
This MV in short is basically the temptations faced by someone. And this also comes under a story line from the songs starting from "I Need U" to the Love Yourself Series. There are many one hour long videos explaining the theories behind the story line which is also called "BTS universe" and nothing, literally nothing makes sense unless you watch the theory videos XD
There is a fictional story line that runs through the BTS music videos. Every little short film they produce on their youtube channel, starting from the songs in Skool Luv Affair until now. In that fictional story line, there are hidden messages in their music videos or it is the story line itself. I hope you have a chance to look into it.
When Hoseok is saying "want it more moremoremoremore", it sounds like he's saying money. But more translates to manhi (in Korean) which sounds like money
this song is about temptation... basically anything you like on an extreme and though it doesn't do good to you anymore (to the extent of sinfulness), you simply end up wanting "more." it is part of the fictional story of bts (going all the way back to 2015). the mv is inspired by a novel called demian by hermann hesse. it's about a boy who made a deal with the devil, and it was sealed by a kiss. the metaphors are all over the mv - from religious paintings to filters of smoke, etc. - a struggle between good and evil. in the end, evil won that's why everything broke apart.
@@penfordmedia oh thanks for reading. that's quite long. lol 💜 hope to see more of your reactions! i love your genuine interest in their lyrics and their mv.
A lot of their videos tie together with themes. If you watch them in order then they make more sense on how they connect. They tell a story that links together through their videos Everything you see in a video is thought out and nothing is by accident.
How about listening to Spring Day? Spring Day is the one song that's STILL in the charts and it was released at the beging of 2017. It's the most calming song . Spring day and Save me can be heart in every century it never gets boring... ( Like the other music's )
Great reaction but don’t worry if you don’t understand it’s a bit confusing I’m not a hundred percent sure what it all means either but I got some more suggestions can you guys please react to ‘not today’ and ‘spring day’ I would really appreciate it thank you 😊💜💜
Blood, sweat and tears is already at the middle of the fictional world of Bts. As I've said before, every song is connected with each other. There's a meaning behind it. You'll understand it if you see it from the start. They're story begins in their album The Most Beautiful Moment of my life. You should see it first then you will understand the concept behind Blood, Sweat & Tears, though it's not yet finish. Because BS&T is included in their Wings album. Good luck. I hope you'll love it.
Binge watching all your BTS Reaction videos. Thank you for loving BTS! Please react to raplines mixtapes please. RM- Mono Playlist Suga- August D Jhope- Hope World
BTS WINGS's era was one of their lagendary era...you guys should watch all of their 7 short films before watch Blood Sweat and Tears (BST) tho~BST is based on Herman Hesse's book titled Demian..the meaning behind the mv is really deep..BTS is famous with their continuous storyline (BTS Universe) through out their MVs since I Need U mv (2015)..ARMYs worked together to decrypt all the theories behind all of their MVs until now..also their book 'The Notes' explained a little bit about BTS universe~by the way I love your genuine reaction..still waiting for your BTS From Nobodies to Legends Pt 1 & Pt 2
You guys have to see the explanation, you were so into the music that you miss all the music video. All of their songs have a meaning behind it. ✨ please react to the explanation of DKDK! ❤️
Your videos are amazing! Love your openness and support for such a different style of music, it's refreshing. If you get a chance you should react to some of their dance practices :)
BST ( abbr for the song name ) is about the danger of temptation and the loss of innocence. This Mv have so much hint and you can watch explanation videos to understand the meaning of it cuz maybe its the deepest Mv by our boys.
"I feel like we miss something but I don't know what we miss" If you only knew. We, ARMYs struggled too even though we've watched every video of their album "WINGS". Their are 7 trailer videos (for their 7 solo songs) which came out before Blood Sweat & Tears. They always put a story in their music & it shows. If you're not into books like "Demian", "Omelas" etc, you'll really have a hard time understanding their songs. They all have deep meanings & you'll never understand it if you don't put an effort into reasearching it. There are actually videos that explain their songs like the videos of DKDKTV, Celeste & more. If you'd like, you can check them out to learn more. Once again, thank you for another reaction!
If u ever felt curious n confused bout bts mv.. look for explained mv..we even need n mv to explain bout bts mv..thats how smart these guys making music..prepare to b blown away
if you didn't know, on the mv of bts in practically all there is theories like in blood sweat and tears part of the album "wings" and we call that the wings era and in all the album their is theories like they tell a story so the album before wings tell a story and wings tell what happend after that. it's very complicated to understand just like that because there are so much to say so you must have to watch a video who tell all the story of the univers of bts the "BU univers". they even have a webtoon named " save me " and with this they tell us a part of the story of their univers
and also all their comcept album mv theories and all was prepared before their debut like since 2013, their company knew what concept they wanted for their new groupe so yeah
BTS have a fictional storyline that runs throughout their music videos and in order for you to understand what this video is all about you have to watch all of their music videos that are connected to the storyline line. It starts by the song I NEED YOU (19+ version) And it goes on for a couple of videos until FAKE LOVE. It's all connected so you have to watch it all in order.
Dudes!!! You learned your first Korean word in this video and you will learn more words without even trying. To watch your faces during this video was fantastic. It was real. Organic! It was a Great reaction! It was a real reaction. Here is a quick synopsis but seriously, there is so much symbolism in this video, if you take if frame by frame, it would take you a day to go through. In the beginning, Jin is staring at a painting between 2 doors, one black & one white door. Which door would you enter? You see the good angels & the dark angels fighting in the painting that Jin is staring at. Good vs. evil. V plays the dark angel, the devil trying to lead Jin., Jin can't stop thinking about it. What? The temptation that is put in front of him. Remember, You saw V jump down. You saw that V had lost his angel wings and has scares on his back. Jin kissed the dark angel statue, he gave into his temptation. and you see the scenes like Jungkook lying down, with a look of being satisfied on his face. There is so much to this video. There is full explanation video that you can watch but in a nutshell, good vs evil. I think its to get us talking, reading and thinking. RM loves to make us think about things. Again, you guys are killing it with your reactions!
Also, I remember yelling at the screen when I first watched the video...NO! NO! Don't do it! when Jin started to Kiss the statue. I didn't know what I was watching but I knew something was gonna happened if he did!!!!
Thanks guys for bts reactions😍, I really enjoy watching your videos, please continue to always we will support you always🙆♂️👑, i am so happy 🤗 because I found your channel🤩🌹
THANKS FOR THE LOVE CZ FAMILY!! MUCH MORE TO COME!! 🔥🔥

Please react to BTS from nobodies to legends
Gyus you must learn these words cause you will see bts vedios

Oh god, i think i might become an army conspiracy theorist because tHESE FEED ME BETTER THAN MEMES
Carrie Cole people say that Hoseok chosen to be in the scene with Mary because it connects to the BU, and Hobi has some .. ahem... mommy issues
And I also think V is the “devil” because he did *spoiler alert* Kill this father
Blood sweat tears has lots to dig into....you should've watched the 7 short films + intro:boy meets evil that were released that lead up to blood sweat and tears.....this is from their WINGS album which explores a lot of themes...mainly the theme of "loss of innocence".
Yeah Watch the short films and intro first! !
Yeah im agree
"manhi" means more in Korean.
As about the meaning, this video is embedded in symbolism and is heavily inspired by Demian.
Most of the ARMYs depend on who we call "detective ARMYs" to break it all down for us.
Thank you for the video btw, it was great. The quantity you're feeding us with is unbelievable.

@@penfordmedia watch thw DKDKTV Ddeang Explained to understand thw lyrics better. This is so cool
the whole mv and song is about temptation. the statue that jin kisses symbolizes Lucifer, the fallen angel. jin kissing the statue seemingly means that he’s giving into temptation and making a deal with the devil. kissing a “demon” solidifies the so called deal. the whole mv is filled to the brim with symbolism, even the painting that jin was looking at in the beginning and the drink that rm was drinking has meaning. i highly recommend you watch the 7 short story mvs from the wings era. although honestly you might get even more confused lmao. the wings story line is incredibly thought out and is related to the hyyh era storyline. which i also highly recommend starting with i need you 19+
BTS’ -“Blood Sweat and Tears” incorporated quotes and themes from Hermann Hesse’s novel “Demian,”
You will thoroughly understand if you read that book.
And dont worry, we are lost too most of the time😅
Love your reaction 💜💜💜
Jade Forlini Chalifoux thanks for the explanation and the support! 💜

There's a lot of theories of this MV so I don't know which one to explain to you guys 😂
The MV is about *youth/boys falling into temptation and losing their innocence* .
I never really understand what this MV is about though because everytime I read the theories it just makes me more and more confused lol
Every BTS MVs are all connected so you have to react to it in order to understand the theories better btw.
Every songs of bts was connected to each other and have meanings. Check out the theories of it. Thanks!

Dagoranna thanks for the support! ❤️
Loved it xX

When I saw the notification of your video I was like 😱because I love you guys and I your reaction ❤
react to BTS you laugh you lose pls🙏

@@penfordmedia That's great haha! I'm looking forward to it.
Also for "Blood, Sweat and Tears" exists a lot of theories. Overall you can say that the theme of the song and the overarching themes of the contiguous MVs of that era are:
getting from adolescence to adulthood (from being a boy to becoming a man).
Can you react to daeng and outro:tear. I love your reactions. Keep it up!

The BTS storyline is brilliant and has references to a lot of literature and mythology. The WINGS album and Most Beautiful Moment In Life have so much going on and there are so many theories but no one really knows what is means.
(Sorry it's a bit long)
Their Wings concept (the album which Blood, Sweat and Tears is from) is based on youth/boys falling into temptation and losing their innocence.
The part where Namjoon (RM) Starts speaking english in the MV (the scene where its a red screen and Seokjin is holding a balloon) is a part in a book by Hermann Hesse called Demian
(If you can find it I would highly recommend reading it... it's an amazing book to say the least)
Edit:
Also..... for pretty much all of this video they filmed on special made sets for them...
Its a story going from 2014 to 2018
Sruti C ranjith thanks! 💜
you guys are so charismatic aaaa thanks for another great reaction!!
Beth ahhh thanks!

Bts from nobodies to legends 1,2,
The more you learn about BTS,the more you confuse..you will find a story behind everything they showed..everything connect each other,it is like puzzle to us..learning about BTS storyline is harder than learning in school..trust me
BTS brought me to your channel & now I'm subscribed to it. You're about to fall into it so deep, nothing will be the same again.

many ...many many. here is a korean word which mean more.....
Blood Sweat & Tears is a song that shows how one thinks, chooses, and grows."
There are also many references (like the organ, the read quote, and the german inscription) to the book Demian and Nietzsche’s theories which basically say that the inner good and evil in a person must conflict with each other before maturation.
BTS' works are so complex that you can add layers and layers of extra meaning. In ARMY(BTS FANDOM) we have so many people to analysis these theories and explain to us..
It's not simple to understand at all, but I hope my answer gives you a bit of a starting point.
This is what i been waiting for

This MV in short is basically the temptations faced by someone. And this also comes under a story line from the songs starting from "I Need U" to the Love Yourself Series. this song is about temptation... basically anything you like on an extreme and though it doesn't do good to you anymore (to the extent of sinfulness), you simply end up wanting "more." it is part of the fictional story of bts (going all the way back to 2015). the mv is inspired by a novel called demian by hermann hesse. it's about a boy who made a deal with the devil, and it was sealed by a kiss.
the metaphors are all over the mv - from religious paintings to filters of smoke, etc. - a struggle between good and evil. in the end, evil won that's why everything broke apart.
Joanie WWH ah thanks so much!

Every bts mv's has a connected stories and theories so I understand you guys if you can't understand some scenes there.

RM- Mono Playlist
Suga- August D

BST ( abbr for the song name ) is about the danger of temptation and the loss of innocence.
This Mv have so much hint and you can watch explanation videos to understand the meaning of it cuz maybe its the deepest Mv by our boys.
Welcome to BTS universe 😂😂 It's okay if you don't understand. A lot army doesn't understand bts mv theory 😂
Omg you guys are amazing you post like every hour of the day, I hope you’ll continue to react to BTS and don’t tire yourselves out!💜💜💜

"I feel like we miss something but I don't know what we miss"
If you only knew.
Jeramae Marqueses and thank you for the support! 💜
It starts by the song
I NEED YOU (19+ version)
And it goes on for a couple of videos until FAKE LOVE.
It's all connected so you have to watch it all in order.
i can’t wait until y’all get into the storyline whooooo hoooo
They sang it in korean

Amazing reaction as always 😊
Zeenat Akhtar thanks for the support! ❤️
