0앨리스 Lmfao girl you know that isn’t true. Tell me one country that is more similar to Korea than Japan. Korean and Japanese culture almost all of it came from China. You guys used Hanja till the 50s 💀(Japan still uses many Chinese characters). There are so many words that sound the same between the two languages. Age hierarchy /bowing is a big part of both. Not losing face, working extremely hard, and Confucius values exist in both. Sushi/kimbap, noodles/ramen. Even in the MMA performance, drums and fans are a big part of Japanese culture. As well as the lion originated from Chinese dragons. You koreans always act like you’re so different from Japan or China, it’s all Oriental culture. Maybe you’ll realize how similar you guys are when you live in a foreign country. People all view you as Asian.
@LIT Your comments can be summed up by saying that you have no idea about East Asian history. I admit that people like you(who don't know much about the East)can see Japan and Korea as similar. But if I repeat your comment with a slight change, it's the same thing as saying that France and Italy are the same. On the macro level, Japan, Korea, and China belong to East Asia, so they have a similar culture because of their active exchange. But if you take a closer look, you will see that the three countries have different cultural identities. We use different language, history, and so on. And I want to tell you to be careful in the future, especially when talking about the relationship between Japan and Korea. It has not been 100 years since Korea was liberated from Japanese colonial rule. And Japan is not apologizing or making any compensation for it. There is a big movement in Korea not to buy Japanese goods even now, due to Japan's rude attitude. So to most Koreans, there are no more ignorant words than to say that Japan and Korea are almost alike. As a Korean, I wanted the world to know more about our precious traditional culture, which was protected from Japan's persistent oppression, and thankfully BTS portrayed it beautifully with music. So I recommend you to study more about Eastern history.
You guys have to learn to get to know and remember their faces one by one, because it seems like you like Suga's rap but in their MV or live performances, you don’t know which one Suga, RM or J-hope when they doing rap...they are so precious and have their own unique characters of voice 💜💜💜
Guys if you'll consider on reacting to MAMA 2016, there are actually several videos split up in 2 parts, Please see the video of BTS ARMY. That's one was the full perfomance.
Before they performed Idol in this 3 of them were doing traditional Korean dances- J-Hope doing the drum dance, Jimin doing the fan dance, and Jungkook doing the mask dance even the opening drum beat with the colored flame sequence was meant to mimic the colors of the South Korean flag 💜 Also please check out the 2017 Cypher Medley :) Oops I almost forgot to mention that Jimin received an award of cultural appreciation for his fan dance
I've been to 2 of their concerts and it's an amazing experience, it's worth every penny. There is no comparison with other Kpop groups. BTS is on another level with their singing, dancing, and lyrics. But once you've been to a BTS concert, you wouldn't want to see other groups. Their company BigHit spends a lot of money on their productions, it's off the charts. I highly recommend you guys to go see them live.
For the Idol performance Everything is Traditional Korean culture. Even the caterpillar looking things which I think are supposed to be lions? I might be wrong. But they all have a meaningful representation of Korean Culture. Loved this video keep reacting to BTS and also please react to some explained videos like the one for spring day. 💜💜
The mirror scene is a reference to one of the scenes in Harry Potter. The mirror of erised which in reverse says 'desire'. What's written was ' I show not only your true side but also your fake side". You can see a lot of this mirror thingy in fake love. There's a lot more but I won't explain. 😂 I 💜 u guys.

Today I went to the taste of Korea and they had did the kpop random dance challenge and they played Airplane pt2 and it was so much fun dancing to this song I felt so care free. Love you💜💜
19:10 this performance actually introduces cultural Korean dances and traditions. They did it in part to show the haters that they haven’t forgotten their Korean roots. It’s a pretty awesome showcase of mixing tradition with modern music. And while Korean traditions may be similar to Japanese or Chinese traditions because of similar roots, there are differences when one takes the time to look/study and I love how they (bts) bring it to the forefront.
OK. Love your respect and admiration for the guys, but I am only 6 minutes in and ya'll have seriously paused almost 10 times. My heart, oh, my heart.... I do rather people pausing than talking over but, sigh, right in the middle of some of the sickest moves hurts my soul.... Thanks for liking them and checking out more of their content.... ok.... ya'll started the video again.... going back to watch..... EDIT: OK, as for JK's "swag" at the beginning of Airplane Pt 2..... you really need to watch the 2018 MAMA from Hong Kong.... the Airplane Pt 2 with Intro almost broke the internet. Seriously. LOL. And the wardrobe, instruments, dancers, etc. for IDOL were KOREAN not Japanese.... they are Korean and the "caterpillars" are traditional lions.... A YT channel "BySTorm" has a video explaining the cultural references in this performance: (it has some other info at the beginning but the IDOL explanation starts about 6:50 in to it): ruclips.net/video/TA5X24c2FhI/видео.html
Fun Facts: The start of the Idol stage where it flashes Red/Blue represents the Korean Flag colour. The masks they wear they hold them on with their teeth, they are called Bite Plates. Why do you think Bts sing Japanese vibe song????? Bts’s Korean group and they’re so proud of being a Korean. Bts always sing Korean music and spreading Korean culture to the world. That’s why Bts sing in Korean not English. Please respect and remind Bts is South Korean Band!!! Bts said they’re always so proud to born in Korea and live in Korea. Bts never sing Japanese vibe song. When Suga kick, you said Karade kick but it’s from Taekwondo (Korean martial arts) kick. Everything in idol performance was Korean traditional music, dance, culture and instruments. Bts said they showed them to the world to introduce beautiful Korean cultures.
Seeing you guys' reaction to their performances in MMA 2018 makes me want you to watch their MAMA 2016 performance and the BTS rap line's Outro: Tear concert fancam in the US. Please do react to those vids!

Also I don't mind about pausing if you want to say something but pausing in the middle of Jimin dopest performance just to say none sense thing is a goddamn annoying.
Thanks for the reaction! 💜 Don’t worry too much about the mistakes you’re new to the culture and that’s okay! I’m not Korean myself but I learned so much from watching BTS content and reading comments from kind and helpful ARMYs. I think it’s great that you guys are trying to learn more and respect it! I know it’s not intended but some comments sound more belittling than informational, the point of reactions is to be exposed to new things and that’s what these guys are doing. Try not to say things like “I can’t believe you don’t know this yet” or “do research before making a video” that can be very discouraging. They are always praising and giving love to the boys so we should give them love and support too! I say this with no kind of malice so I hope no one in the comments takes this the wrong way, ARMYs have been really kind and I hope we all continue to be in the future! I purple you 💜💜💜
I am on my way to work and watching your video. Beginning of Idol all those are Korean cultural dances. And those yellow things re lions. And they sang live all three songs. The letters at the intro is Persona which is the name of the new album they released this year. Take care guys and peace.
it was the korean culture not Japanese or CHinese... Rem not all of them were actual dancers or singers. Practice makes it perfect. thats why we love and respect them for their hard work. thank u for reacting
They performed three different songs and choreography for Fake Love, Airplane Pt 2, and Idol....they did two intros, one for fake love and second for Idol *That was the korean version of Airplane Pt 2, there’s a japanese version, sometimes i can’t tell the difference between the two languages*
I’ve been waiting for you to perform to their live performances at Korean award shows. Thanks for this reaction. I hope you check out more of their live performances and hopefully get to know more about the boys individually.
You are so close to becoming a true ARMY. There is only one more goal you must achieve in my opinion… Learn their names. Can you please react to all seven introduction videos by Squishy Min Yoongi? Each video is an introduction to each member. If you watch all of them, you can dig deeper into their individual background and learn more about them individually. Also, these videos might help you be able to identify them more. That way you’ll know who is singing and who’s rapping when performing. But even if you don’t watch the videos, please try to learn their names and faces anyway. I believe in you guys. Keep up the good work. 👍💜💜💜💜
Those are not Japanese culture stuff. It's Korean culture and traditions. Why would they do a whole intro with japanese cultural stuff when they're korean lol ? Anyways, the things you called "caterpillars" or "sheeps" are actually lions. It's the traditional korean "lion dance". The boys of bts were also dancing traditional korean dances (the fans, the girls, mask dance by Jungkook). The instruments the traditional dancers were holding on the main stage were also traditional korean drums. On this performance, bts were wearing a modern version of the "Han-bok" which is a traditional korean clothing (if japanese have "Kimono" koreans have "Han-bok"). They did this intro because the beat of their song "Idol" has korean traditional music elements and the choreography for it also integrates korean traditional dances.
Thankyou for your time to react to this video By the way bts always giving us Army a hint in every live performance show for the next comeback Album The End if the intro you seen them siting That’s was A words (PERSONA) BOYS WITH LUVso don’t Blink when come to bts performance wtf Live or just video And by the way they not perfomance japanese but their own Culture Korean Dance
h david Lol how? Name one country that is more similar in culture to korea than japan. Most Japanese and Korean culture originated from China. Bowing/age hierarchy, Koreans using Hanja while Japan still uses significant amount of Chinese characters, drums, fans, the Confucius value of working hard, taking care of your elders, chopsticks, sushi/kimbap, noodles/ramen, not losing face, many words that sound the same in both languages, traditional clothing, artwork. Koreans always act like they’re so different from Japan and China, always acting superior to both countries. Please, it’s all Oriential culture that everybody views them as Asian at the end of the day.
@@penfordmedia if you are looking for more live clips, there are some amazing clips from when they played Wembley in the UK and from the 5th Muster in Seoul recently.
Jungkooks voice which you commented on how good he sounded is exactly why he’s the main vocalist.... all our vocalists are amazing and may even have better range than he does... but that kid can adapt like nothing I’ve ever seen before and his voice is so powerful and stable... doesn’t miss a note or ever sound tired... it’s insane. Like here you can hear how different his voice is and how much control he has while having the most parts and still somehow sounds so smooth and perfect. It’s his strength... each and every member has something that they do better than anybody else... they find a way to fill those spots for each other and I think their bond as brothers really makes them extremely special... they’re BTS first and not the individuals... but all of them have their forte that they contribute... they really are incredible every member!!

Korean traditional culture.. not japan...They are korean😅
BTS members are South Korean not Japanese!!! So they sing, dance, compose and perform in Korean! So some homework!
You guys have to learn to get to know and remember their faces one by one, because it seems like you like Suga's rap but in their MV or live performances, you don’t know which one Suga, RM or J-hope when they doing rap...they are so precious and have their own unique characters of voice 💜💜💜
Please react to them singing "Born Singer" live. It's really an awesome and meaningful song.
yes its one of their most personal songs, they were all emotional performing it 💜. Live version is 😭💜
born singer live 2015
yes
1:54 "maybe its saying they are one" WE NEED THEIR AMAZING MINDS TO JOIN THE DETECTIVE ARMY CLUB
ot7StanAlways we are here 💜💜
Notification squad here!😂 please react next to their epic MAMA 2016 live performance! That was equally best and legendary as this one...
Guys if you'll consider on reacting to MAMA 2016, there are actually several videos split up in 2 parts, Please see the video of BTS ARMY. That's one was the full perfomance.
What are you talking about??? they are all Epic!...lol
@@mihihenare4600 how about you? What are you talking about? Lmao!😂 Did I just said EQUALLY best and legendary? Try to read carefully and comprehend😣
4:16 yes it does spell something
“Persona”
It was like a tease of their new album (Map of The Soul: Persona), since this was in 2018
I don’t even know ahhhhh thanks so much!! 💜
Ahh
I didn't even realize that
I'm so dumb 😭😭😭
Thanks for the info 💟🤗
Before they performed Idol in this 3 of them were doing traditional Korean dances- J-Hope doing the drum dance, Jimin doing the fan dance, and Jungkook doing the mask dance even the opening drum beat with the colored flame sequence was meant to mimic the colors of the South Korean flag 💜
Also please check out the 2017 Cypher Medley :)
Oops I almost forgot to mention that Jimin received an award of cultural appreciation for his fan dance
I swear you guys post every time I get on to watch RUclips Videos. Thanks for posting a good blend of live stages, lyric videos, and MVs!
Nathan Christ we got you bro!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Jimin: I’m so fine wherever I go...
“Always has the girls tripping!”
“And guys”
Sh*t here we go again!
Always
Maybe they (cz tv) are ready for serendipity now?! 🤔😅
You are correct. They are lions and called bukcheong saja.
You should react to "BTS Idol explained by Korean" for you to understand what's goin on in that performance😊✌
Sari Dale Poclis thanks for that 💜💜
They're not wearing bathrobe😂😂😂 it's Koreas traditional clothes.
Maroon King wohoops sorry! 😂😂
The one of the most epic performances ever! Thanks for yr reaction💜have u guys learn BTS members names yet
Those red blue white lights represents Korea🇰🇷flag for Idol performance
Today I went to the taste of Korea and they had did the kpop random dance challenge and they played Airplane pt2 and it was so much fun dancing to this song I felt so care free.
Love you💜💜
makylia Bingmon that’s so awesome!! We love you too Makylia! Have a great week! 💜
You may have seen those “caterpillars” as lion dances at Chinese New Year parades. They’re kinda similar.
C P we just love em!!
CP@ purple you.
Fun Facts: The start of the Idol stage where it flashes Red/Blue represents the Korean Flag colour. The masks they wear they hold them on with their teeth, they are called Bite Plates. These guys are the most humble, sincere humans on the planet, I hope people seriously take a leaf out of their books and start loving and respecting firstly themselves, each other and their fellow humans regardless of creed, race and colour, the world is a Melting Pot we need to embrace. Love as always from Australia 💜🇦🇺💜🇦🇺
This will always go down as one of their most EPIC live performances ever. They are phenomenal performers💜
I’m from the Philippines, and I love your positive energy. Thank you for appreciating BTS. Welcome to the ARMY FAMILY!!! 💜💜💜
Kimberly Kuan much more to come 💜💜
Airplane pt2 is produce by J-HOPE. and also performing on 2018MAMA in hk
And airplane is J-HOPE's mixtape song.
That look at 3:45 😂! I laughed way too hard at that.
But you guys speaking of wanting to see more live performances “Make it Right” on The Late Show and “Mic Drop” on SNL will blow your socks off!
Mireya Perez 😂😂😂🙏🏻
im glad to see you guys fall in love with BTS like most of us did, it's really enjoyable to watch tbh because I can relate so hard haha
More dance practice pls
I hope you get to see them live one day, i went to my first concert a few months ago and its such an unbelievable beautiful experience.
mma 2018 is one of their best performances in my opinion! i was litteraly shocked! i've never a performance like this one in my whole life. It was an award show but it gave me the feeling of being a BTS concert lol
I have to say, you are the cutest reactors ever, so genuine and precious, I don't know why ppl hate on you. You guys are a die for 💜💜💜💜
Maria Romero ahhhhh you are the best! 💜💜
@@evelynhopee he is pretty genuine for me, maybe you're looking for someone who exaggerates their expressions more, there are plenty of RUclipsrs who do that,, even so, people shouldn't throw hate.
@@evelynhopee I have a philosophy I like to follow, "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything" if he is not good enough in his reactions for you, stop watching and saying things like "he's not genuine" because maybe he reads those comments and maybe he feels bad about it. Just be nice.
@@evelynhopee maybe you are, he have been saying a lot in their videos that ppl say they are no truly fans, and they have been trying to prove themselves about it, I feel bad. No hard feelings at all😅😅 I thought you were one of those fans
Airplane pt2 is one of my favourites lmao, when I heard the music slow I was like “EVERYONE SHUT UP, ITS JHOPES PART!” 😂
Hi I'm your new subscribers. Please react to Suga- agust D or BTS Run episode. Purple you guys. 💜
Nabilah shahrizal thanks for the love! Hope you enjoy 💜
“and guys” lol Thanks for not forgetting us king!
Please you need to react to the music video of “Airplane pt 2”
Seeing you guys' reaction to their performances in MMA 2018 makes me want you to watch their MAMA 2016 performance and the BTS rap line's Outro: Tear concert fancam in the US. Please do react to those vids!
Incredible! Flew over to London in june and saw the boys at Wembley, and it was...unbelievable!!! ✌️🥰🇫🇮
Remember that fancam from after that stage?? They were so extremely exhausted, that they had trouble getting up... ://
They truly always give us their all! So much praise, and all well deserved💜
fitting perfomance IDOL, they display, their culture that is the distinctive culture of south korea.
this wasn't even their concert, it was at an award show..you can see all of the army bombs (the light sticks) in the crowd
They owned that award show...from the performance to the awards and their speeches was surely a special night in history.
You know what I'm gonna teach you guys the fanchant lmao, so it goes
"KIM NAMJOON! KIM SEOKJIN! MIN YOONGI! JUNG HOSEOK! PARK JIMIN! KIM TAEHYUNG! JEON JUNGKOOK! BTS!! "
ANd thanks fornthe reaction, totally loved it💜💜💜💜
I've watched their performances many times, but with you guys it's more exciting to watch them, thank you 💜💜
Dewi Putri Anugrah ahhh 💜💜💜
You are willing to learn and that is all that counts. Your smiles and laughter make your reactions twice as exciting to watch🥳🥳
If you like their live performances I recommend the Idol 2018 MAMA Hong Kong performance
Please do a bts rapline special haha.. rm-Joke, J. Hope-Airplane pt. 1 and (suga) august d-august d. These songs are the solo release songs of the rap line in BTS!
Please react to it you won't regret it!!!!
Also I don't mind about pausing if you want to say something but pausing in the middle of Jimin dopest performance just to say none sense thing is a goddamn annoying.
Finally you reacting to this video ..
Thank you..
I purple you 💜💜💜
Angelica Gutierrez you’re the best 💜💜
CZ TV You guys are the best too! Keep up the good work! 💜
I am on my way to work and watching your video. Beginning of Idol all those are Korean cultural dances. And those yellow things re lions. And they sang live all three songs. The letters at the intro is Persona which is the name of the new album they released this year.
Take care guys and peace.
This is the one of the most *Epic* performances of Bangtan in Award Show 💜
But, every live performances of them is Amazing. Cooler than MV 🤙
it was the korean culture not Japanese or CHinese... Rem not all of them were actual dancers or singers. Practice makes it perfect. thats why we love and respect them for their hard work. thank u for reacting
Their efforts... Cant stop loving BTS. :)
They performed three different songs and choreography for Fake Love, Airplane Pt 2, and Idol....they did two intros, one for fake love and second for Idol
*That was the korean version of Airplane Pt 2, there’s a japanese version, sometimes i can’t tell the difference between the two languages*
I’ve been waiting for you to perform to their live performances at Korean award shows. Thanks for this reaction. I hope you check out more of their live performances and hopefully get to know more about the boys individually.
I love your reaction guys. This is good performance...next time you should react to MAMA at Japan 2018 Anpanman and Fake Love
Nurlaela Echan we’ll check it out!
You are so close to becoming a true ARMY. There is only one more goal you must achieve in my opinion…
Learn their names.
Trinity Rooks we are working on it!! 💜
Basically their performance before idol was the all korean tradition 😁 love your reactions 😉
Hanixx ahh thanks so much 💜💜
Thankyou for your time to react to this video
By the way bts always giving us Army a hint in every live performance show for the next comeback Album
The End if the intro you seen them siting
That’s was A words (PERSONA) BOYS WITH LUVso don’t Blink when come to bts performance wtf Live or just video
And by the way they not perfomance japanese but their own Culture Korean Dance
Thank you so much for reacting this! ❤️
christine cecilja 💜💜
IT'S NOT JAPANESE😥😥 Korean culture is fundamentally so different from japanese.
h david Lol how?
I want you react to "bts-outro tear live video".

etika persada 💜💜💜💜
I've not watched the vid but Finally a live performance reaction
Jungkooks voice which you commented on how good he sounded is exactly why he’s the main vocalist.... all our vocalists are amazing and may even have better range than he does... but that kid can adapt like nothing I’ve ever seen before and his voice is so powerful and stable... doesn’t miss a note or ever sound tired... it’s insane. Like here you can hear how different his voice is and how much control he has while having the most parts and still somehow sounds so smooth and perfect. It’s his strength... each and every member has something that they do better than anybody else... they find a way to fill those spots for each other and I think their bond as brothers really makes them extremely special... they’re BTS first and not the individuals... but all of them have their forte that they contribute... they really are incredible every member!!
omgggg it feels like every video you make they get even better every time, it feels weird watching u guys finding out all this halfway through 2019 theres soooooo much react to😭😂but im glad you guys have found them

I know it's going to take some time since they are ALWAYS changing their hair colors, but it'll make it a better reaction and experience for YOURSELVES to be able to point out who is who and their individual talents. Don't get discouraged, it took me a whole month to figure out that Jin and Jungkook weren't the same person. Tyvm for all the honest and humble reactions. I can tell you REALLY appreciate them. The intro on their last performance is definitely based on their own culture which is Korean, all of the solo performances: Jhope, Jimin, and Jungkook are from their country’s traditions.
Antis are saying out there that they are too westernized so this is what they did. BTS slapped them with a world class performance that is purely based on their own culture.
