How did his Mum become a slave in the first place???
On the 18th June 1452, Pope Nicholas V, issues the Papal Bull Dum Diversas, it authorised Alfonso V of Portugal to reduce any “Saracens (Muslims) and pagans and any other unbelievers” to perpetual slavery.
The trade made the shift from Europe to the Americas as a primary destination for slaves around 1518. Prior to this time, slaves were required to pass through Portugal to be taxed before making their way to the Americas.
This formally legitimized the Portuguese slave trade from West Africa, so serving as a major origin point of the Transatlantic Slave Trade. This Papal bull along with the doctrine of discovery and Berlin Scramble for Africa set off the basis of mass genocide, colonialism, destruction, theft of lands, apartheid, racism, segregation, racial inequality for tens of millions of people maybe more, with people still stigmatised, racially abused, police brutalised and mass incarcerated as a result.
Henry the Navigator has the dubious distinction of being a founder of the Atlantic slave trade. He sponsored Nuno Tristao's exploration of the African coast, and Antao Goncalves's hunting expedition there in 1441. ... Within a few years, Portugal was deeply involved in the slave trade. Henry died in 1460 in Sagres, Portugal.
In 1455, Pope Nicholas V gave Portugal the rights to continue the slave trade in West Africa, under the provision that they convert all people who are enslaved. The Portuguese soon expanded their trade along the whole west coast of Africa. Henry held the monopoly on all expeditions to Africa granted by the crown until his death in 1460..
Through his administrative direction, he is regarded as the main initiator of what would be known as the Age of Discovery.
On 25 May 1420, Henry gained appointment as the Grand Master of the Military Order of Christ, the Portuguese successor to the Knights Templar, which had its headquarters at Tomar, in central Portugal.
The Military Order of Christ (Ordem Militar de Cristo), previously the Order of the Knights of Our Lord Jesus Christ (Ordem dos Cavaleiros de Nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo), is the former Knights Templar order as it was reconstituted in Portugal after the Templars were abolished on 22 March 1312 by the papal bull, Vox in excelso, issued by Pope Clement V.
Revelation chapter 17 and 18 v 13 in particular deal with a system called Babylon and Mystery Babylon which will go to a forthcoming destruction but one of The Key characteristics is that the system and respective entities deal with slaves and the souls of men and that can be in no way better identified in depth or volume then the Arab and Transatlantic Slave Trades. The Bible urges forgiveness for all men, simply because unless we forgive others we will not be forgiven ourselves.
In Matthew 24 we hear: 4. And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.5. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 11. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you before.26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
Simply put Christ or Christianity has never been in the desert and Mecca nor The Arab Slave Trade, neither The Papacy's confessional booths as secret chambers or grottoes for venerated Saints. Moreover of The system identified as Babylonian Revelation says:
Revelation 18:4 King James Version (KJV)
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
...And Christ commends all that no one comes to the Father but via himself as a perfect sacrifice and repent, for all those that can identify the deception and believe.

It’s interesting again how you barely mention his love of animals, even rats and mice. Typical of the catholic church to downgrade animals. Martin de Porres was a great man and a symbol of anti racism but you gloss over his love of animals.
    Shame on you.
