Great crisp and honest review Sarge.
Coming to the bike itself. I owned one last year and sold it mainly because of how bad the vibrations were and the fact that the gearing was a big big problem. TVS couldn’t fix the rough gearing for me and another big reason being though the network of TVS service centres are huge, their service and infrastructure itself is just so bad. Seeing an unfinished version now makes it even more unsatisfying because TVS needs to get its act back up with their most premium product. The RC 390 (I opened that too and moved to the RR) may not offer an adjustable shock but it’s still miles ahead.
TVS really needs to fix the bugs for this to do as well as it should

Great analysis, but on the vibration part I beg to differ. I've test ridden both the RTR and new RR. I felt RR was way smoother then RTR, even this new RR is smoother than in predecessors.
Not the case on the 2 test bikes I tested to verify

The heavy steering at low speeds might be due to tyres (if they have been updated). I noticed the same in my D390 after updating from stock Metzellers to Apollo Alpha H1s.

TVS needs to increase the size of the engine to compete with The RC If a 312cc and give 38PS imagine how much a 350-400cc one will give. It already has a such a great Chasis already

... happy new year mr. Sarg , this bike looks the best in red❤, Tvs has thrown every feature in this bike but they forgot to add a link type rear mono shock which would have made it handle much better, even the much cheaper R15 offers it, rest is all fine in my view.

I am happy and sad at the same time. Happy because you are atleast telling the truth to everyone. Sad because there are people who are not ready to accept and fix. When you bring the wrong set of people, this is what happens. I am happy that I am still running 1.5 version of this bike.

I recommend watching my rc390 review to make an informed decision. I would personally pick the RC at this price point because that engine packs more juice for touring comfortably and is a little better in terms of refinement

@lokeshwarana6585 I only like the red white paint shade and overall fit finish quality but rest it seems smaller than Guerrilla for my height so it's out already, i was more invested in scrambler400x but later gave up as i didn't like the braking

I have been waiting for this video since the launch of the Apache RR 310 2025 model. Then, I just lost hope. I want to buy this bike on January 1st, but I think I will have to wait until January 2nd. If this video launches one day before or after 12 AM, then it will be perfect telepathy.

If you want a proper supersport get the zx6r. The striple rs is a better all rounder
@SagarSheldekarOfficial Im too slightly tilted towards a super sports which I can take to race tracks, but that’s only once a month maybe. Mostly I will commute, go for Sunday rides and some touring! I would have opted for a test ride but it isn’t available :(

@@top10things177 My unsolicited advise would be to go with something less powerful, like the Aprilia you suggested. Apart from the initial cost of the bike, the running expenses can get really high, really quickly. Another aspect is the safety, if your self control is exceptional, you can go for a 100+ hp bike. However, getting to that territory slowly is just better. Track days on the cheaper bikes are better, you can spend more on performance upgrades and in the case of any damage, easy on the pocket as well. Ride safe!
@@top10things177 unless your income is like 3/4 lakhs a month,,,,the actual usage and the cost you will face will be beyond your expectations. I know so many people who just buy due to itching but soon they realise that cost of keeping these machines are HUGE as per their monthly usage..and then they sell it off.

The RR310 is underrated for its smooth ride. Despite fewer vibrations than the Duke 390, reviewers rarely acknowledge this, while often overlooking vibrations in the KTM
I don't know about the current 390 duke with the lc4c engine, but if you're comparing RR310 with the 2nd gen RC390 released in 2022, there's a big difference in nvh levels. RR310 is vibey post 6000 rpm, whereas RC390 just has some minor buzz at 4000-5000 rpm and after that it settles down and has good nvh levels until 8500 rpm. RR310 on the other hand gets buzzier as the revs go up.
Why does tvs not change the bulky exhaust and try to make clean and subtle design!

But @motorinc said that TVS had putted a Forged piston in the bike so the vibration levels are down than thr RTR 310. Accordibg to them the RTR 310 has pour refinement in terms of vibrations done by TVS.

Doesn't the cb make more sense with much lighter weight, better response at lower RPMs, 0 vibrations in comparison & most importantly non existent heating issues in comparison to duke 390 in city traffic.
About time tvs needs to bring in some higher capacity engines under 400 segment has been slayed by other competitors in the market.

This model might not sell but will always remain the benchmark for any brand that wants to spoil it's customers with upgrades. High Hopes with RTX. Combines the 310RR and the RTR 310 to make a practical sports tourer. Less sporty stance yet faired. All gizmos included with a 180mm + ground clearance. The Indian Multistrada in the making.

Urban mode is not the soft map, its the sports mode, because for 1000 km one only haa urban which tvs can market to people for punchy performance. while sports mode is mellow relaxing.
I dont get it, why they do this, i own rtr 310. and i am also well aware of their shinanigans.

@SagarSheldekarOfficial i think so but fuel map implementation says otherwise, urban and rain are aggressive maps with fuel cutoff at 8000, sports mode is mellow with 9000 cutoff point and Track mode is a mixof urban mode punch and Track mode rpm cap which is 10,000. personally i dont see a reason to have this much of a mess.
in recent TVS rtr 310 update they actually used sports mode map for initial 3 gears meaning GTT is not available for 3 gear in urban mode. this solves that throttle hold problem where it does not start engine braking right away after throttle off. but now urban mode feels a bit less aggressive.
As I have said in MotorInc video as well TVS does not give test ride for their premium bikes which is a bummer

@@SagarSheldekarOfficial I am in no way discounting the great things this bike offers. They have indeed made a beautiful bike which has great handling. I just hope they fix their pricing. They are resorting to gimmicks to justify a premium.
@@hiteshadhikari Dude! The principle is the same. Be it generating lift or creating downforce. I was pointing out its purely aesthetics. The downforce it will create is purely dependent on its speed. And it increases not linearly, but kinda exponentially(Its curve when plotted on a graph).
Which means at 0kmph it will create 0kg, around 100 kmph it might create 1-2kg, in 200kmph it may create 4kg, 10 kg at 300kmph and maybe 100kg at 400kmph or above.
And 3 kgs of downforce at 160 kmph neither going to load the front suspension for effective breaking nor going to stop bike from flipping over. I am not not sure if it's able to clean up dirty air around the bike when it's cutting through air.
But effectively what I mean it is as good as stopping the bike using air resistance generated by my outstretched hands.

Speed is a factor which tells the lift/downforce created by a certain static wing because end of the day the way force is created is by the airflow over the surface
You can inc that in two ways essentially,
1- inc it by inc speed and hence the volume of air flowing over the surface
2- inc the wing size
As the bikes wing is static in geometry and size , the only force changing phenomenon ( taking environment and geometry of natural wind flow aside ) is the speed of bike
And yes the force is exponentially high but the device or wing is to aid high speed performance. How great it is can be debated by various tests and can in theory be studied only by WTT and CFD analysis but it doesnt matter
Any help is a good help at high speed and if its not coming at breaking bank prices than its welcomed addition. If we start nitpicking, everything has a theoretical problem

Tvs needs to rethink their 310 platform. It never really hit the mark. The other brands just did way more at the same price. Also tvs service in my city is absolutely disastrous.

I think the expectations we have with this bike it just doesn't live up to it, the pricing is a real drawback, i completely agree the rc 390 is a lot better package than this.

It’s so hard to keep the vibes down in a single that too 300 cc guess this is why company like hero got Karizma as a 200 and now only bumping to 250 because that’s where you can manage vibes more of a buzz on seat and pegs and less to no vibes on handle bar because that’s where it matters the most you can’t handle the handle if there are vibes as no one taking them to track everyone is on road with these
Ktms have managed the vibes just fine with their even higher strung singles
The new models have small issues with the handle bar. If we try to ride hands free the bike will tend to move towards the right side..One of my friends bike if he tried to take the hands from the handle bar the bike suddenly dangerously threws to the right.
It's because of the bulky exhaust. I too experience the same thing on my RR daily.

This bike has alot of potential, but it's definitely not an ironed product. Although the steering issue isn't that big of an issue for me, eventhough i live in a ghat region, the price definetly is. Especially considering that i could splurge a little more and get the A-457, which i felt was amazing, but had a little braking issue. If it was still priced around the old gen, it wouldn't have been an issue. But seeing how TVS is with updating bikes, it might be time to switch to Aprilla

The current 310cc engine has basically been abandoned by BMW. TVS might've rolled out this update as an end of life thing.
My guess is, the upcoming TVS 300cc engine might be the completely new and better engine that will resolve all of the current issues as well as improve overall experience. Also since this engine is 100% TVS, hence costs will also come down drastically thereby improving user experience. Again, my guess is, TVS might launch this engine with the upcoming ADV bike, followed by the RTR and finally into the RR. Maybe TVS might throw in a surprise and launch these bikes at sub ₹2.2 lakhs, thereby bringing it at par with the competition.
The 450cc engine showcased at EICMA might be a BMW-only engine or TVS might also roll out a few models on this engine (excluding the ADV which is only for BMW).
Time will tell but don’t expect the motorcycles to get cheaper

As an RR310 owner, it makes me sad that the bike has had many iterations of improvement still they somehow stuck in the same issues from the 1st gen RR.
Its about time for TVS to change RR's heart to something completely fresh or better discontinue it as the service centers are worse.
Or just fix the bugs to help showcase its full potential
