Got to have the weatherstrip with the chrome strip, the strip fits in the channel to wedge the rubber into the channel to hold the glass in. Also you have the tie rods in wrong, there's a long and short one, you either have them reversed or got 2 shorts
Should have undercoated the pan, wheel wells and running boards. Protects and preserves that sweet thing and it prevents a lot of road noise. We sound deadening and undercoated our 68 bug and it made a massive difference. Add a 3/4” front and back sways bars and it will handle the road like a dream.

As soon as i seen they used the wrong windscreen Rubber i was thinking it only a matter of time before that screen pops Out i did say on my last comment that VW's are Airtight ??? i wish they just close the doors and look at how much air is pushed on to the front screen when one door is closed when the other is shut.

Looking good guys! Again I would have replaced the taillights with period correct, much larger lenses and safer. I had a '59 sunroof, first thing I did was put in bigger taillights. And a 912 engine 😊

The torsion bar trailing arm front suspension was chosen because it was very durable, absorbed the potholes and bumps well, and provided independent front suspension, somewhat a rarity on inexpensive cars at the time. Early Porsche 356 sports cars used essentially the same system. This car is fitted with a later version that has ball joints instead of the previously used king pin spindle locating system. The VW torsion bar front suspension was a brilliant design that held up to extreme abuse. Many Baja 1000 buggies, including the first winner used this for decades.
The passenger side tie rod end look like you put in wrong. Stabilizer shock goes from passenger side up to Driver side. It was year ago when I work on one but had to change the stabilizer shock.
How did you guys not see that the front tires suspension were way off.. It was pretty clear to see while the car was on the lift. I thought that was the whole purpose for you guys leaving the front fenders off so you could adjust them once you guys finished installing the front end. Cmon guys...😊
I bought a brand new 2000 Ford Ranger. After having a vibration trouble with it right after I bought it. The dealership I bought it found one bent rim. Mmmm??? But no outer damage. So I was still having trouble with it. So I took it to other Ford dealership. They found the other three was bent to. Mmmm ???? After Ford investigated it. The truck was dropped in transport.

The glass guy did’nt install the right new gasket ! It’s missing the chrome strip lip !
He didn’t bother. That aluminum trim strip is very difficult to install. But being a pro he should have.

The passenger side takes the longer tie rod. They probably put a short one on that is why its so far out...
I wouldn’t drive it without fenders. You’ll get rock chips all down the body. Looking great! Can’t wait to see it finished.

That car doesn't have rack and pinion steering, it has a recirculating ball and worm unit. Not as good as rack and pinion.
