One thing I noticed in this game is Boaster’s mechanics and confidence is insane right now. His aim coach has certainly helped him. He’s a LOT more controlled in his fights, and he’s able to stay alive a lot longer. It’s allowed him to make calls to solo watch A site. His peeking is a lot better as well.
Worth pointing out that as well as FNC running this comp towards the end of last year, it also went undefeated in the entire NA Challengers 3 split over the last month (across 3/4 maps) with Rankers. So there's clearly something in it if you have the players to pull it off.
Yeah but the problem is that he’s not really good with Jett and yoru so he can’t be the main duelist. If he were, fnatic could have picked up Elite who was an insane sentinel from BBL and they could win trophies for sure
@@craig226 Alfajer played jett and duelist before he joined fnatic, he is good on duelist and being able to play yoru isnt a big necessity for a duelist player at all, Elite is inconsistent too and wouldnt really be able to replace alfa
Fnatic vs Leviatán has definitely been my favorite game thus far. Boaster hitting his shots and top-fragging, Demon1 back on Jett where he belongs, the clutches that worked with only milliseconds of time left before defuse, the 14-12 overtime, it was all just peak Valorant in my eyes
Chron needs to work on his Astra but damn are duelists the only thing he can’t play? I feel like his agent pool is second only to the greatest flex player in the world, forsaken, who can literally play any and all roles/agents with great success.
mm im sure some other teams can try, but again, ud have thought they would've for haven after fnc insane haven stats. Its just so perfect w alfa on that iso n someone like derke or kaajak on yoru to frankly sit down the enemies
he loss most of them to meiy. iso is good until you aim diffed. this will happened in game changers, emea team played 1 trick iso and first time she aim diffed everyone against bad teams, then they got xipto and she losses every 1v1 against eneri.
I have said this before but I think Crashies think he plays better than he does - what I mean by this is that some of his fights and the way he takes them (more so on attack than on defense) are like a player with insane mechanics and poor decision making (think KangKang, Jingg, old Derke amd TenZ, or Florescent) but he isn't on the roles for that so the timings are weird and just leads to some weird peeks from him. (maybe im just a hater, cause i do not like Crashies hahaha)
I got a feeling crashies is gonna learn a lot by playing in the "fnatic" system. People make fun of boaster because of his aim but we have to give creds cause he and the coaches build a good team with good structure. And I think this is what crashies needed to go back in his "prime". Idk why but I feel like fnatic is gonna do very well even without Leo as their Sova.
@@maighe_tv2848 iso ult covers too much space and pops too quickly to reliably juke it in any way, assuming the Iso is using it well. Eventually someone will have to be on the spike, in a chokepoint, or otherwise revealed on minimap for it to be a guaranteed hit. As for yoru, your idea of playing slow and waiting out his tp or trying to bait him to the wrong site has more validity I think.
@dasheesh3461 oh yes of course, I'm talking about the first contact ult we see in the video. It's also common in ranked and if you are aware you can try to dodge it.
@@maighe_tv2848 I mean you can certainly try, but if you are any agent other than Jett with an already-procked dash, you ARE getting hit if the Iso centers it on you. Which he can consistently do by looking at his map. It has to connect consistently to be even a decent ult since he still has to win the fight to realize most of its value. Of course you might as well try to dodge it, and you will feel like a winner if you manage to, but it simply cannot be a primary gameplan for countering him. Iso has other weaknesses you would be better off exploiting, or to focus on abusing the lack of a sentinel in this case. Rather than going out of your way just to negate the strengths they do have
i'll die on the hill that yoru is completely broken, and maybe pre-nerf chamber on steroids his tp isn't instant but it is cross-map, his flash (if well placed) is undodgeable and his clone has absurd potential value for only 100 creds. also the fact that his (also completely busted) ult only costs 7 and allows him to work as an initiator.. there's just so much to him

Alfajer really wants to be a duelist instead of sentinel. I don't blame him.
He was a duelist player before fnc and I think it's not too crazy for them to want to take advantage of his versatility as a strong aimer
