Didn’t expect such a fantastic video from someone with so little subs. You deserve way more. I’ve watched 5-6 20min videos tonight on BrM guides and yours is the easiest to follow and understand. Thanks for uploading! Keep up the great work 👍🏻
Nice guide thx for keeping it to the point. Really gets old listening to someone ramble endlessly like they didn't collect their thoughts before turning on the camera. :P
I didn't forget to talk about stat priority, stat prio is not something i talk about in any of my guides since it changes depending on content you want to do and also will likely be changing at least a bit in shadowlands.
Thanks for the vid. So, is it in our best interest to take more damage so we get the high stagger bubble? And does the purified stagger scale based on last purify or is it cumulatively what u have staggered up to using the celestial?
Hey Tony. Celestial Shields will grant 20% absorption per stack, with purifying a small amount (still in the green) being the baseline. You can either stack these smaller purifies (up to 200% total absorption increase) or you can purify a very large amount of Stagger (close to the red, if not in the red) for a huge absorption amount all at once. I explained it the way I did in the video because alot of our talents and abilities synergize with having Celestial up frequently, which would not work well with stacking many smaller purifies. For smoothest gameplay while also getting large shield, I recommend Purifying when you're in the yellow when you can, and then immediately using Celestial.
Hi! Thanks for the vid! Was super simple to follow and to the point which is awesome! As someone fairly new to Brew I was just wandering how you keep track of your stagger and know when best to purify? Do you use an addon or just get a feel for it as you go?
Most BrMs will use a Weak Aura for Stagger tracking, as well as Brews CDs. For those who play more casually or just don't want to mess around with Weak Auras, you can track it yourself reasonably well by basing your purifies off of what color your stagger is. The circular debuff icon for your stagger will always be next to your mini map, and will change color from green to yellow to red depending on stagger. purifying when the icon is yellow is standard if playing with a healer, while purifying on green is standard for solo play.
Honestly it depends on the content you like doing. For M+ specifically, BrM can push much higher keys (at least right now on Beta), but it's VERY healer dependent and some people won't like that. VDH is very strong and a ton of fun, it won't push quite as high until you and your group get quite geared but it's also a lot more independent. I made a tank comparison video you can check out for more side by side type stuff if you want. :)
not trying to troll but IMO, using spinning crane kick seems kinda bleh to me. IT doesn't reduce your Brew CDs and it isn't a good threat generator. I would suggest not using it because it uses a lot of energy and only gives you shuffle which is "ok" but i dont like it. Thoughts?
Yes I completely agree and I mentioned this in the video. I does contribute to the passive Shuffle mechanic, but I stated in the vid towards the end that it does garbage damage, costs too much energy, and that we should use Rushing Jade Wind instead for AoE damage. I would only consider actively using Spinning Crane if while in AoE fights I needed a fast ISB proc from Shuffle.
@@soshspotgames4380 yeah dude 100%. I think right now i've used it only on Hivemind mythic and just to pad lol. I Just wanted to talk about it because It just bugs me. If it reduced Brews man it'd be amazing. imagine if it procd and cost no energy in like a big pull.

Thanks dude means alot, glad you found it helpful :)
Perfect video. Short and informative, exactly what I was looking for. Thanks a lot man
Thx for the update. Like the plain explanations, and not trying to explain the junk no one needs to know
Thanks! :D
This is a great video, very informative and to the point. You deserve far more views for quality of this content, thanks for the hard work.
Thanks Craig, I appreciate it! :)

great vid, you forgot to mention to use blackout kick on cd for more dodge chance and forgot talk about stat priority :D

Really enjoyed it!
Awesome to hear it!

Happily enjoying Brewmaster.. I can still take on the jerks comin at me in PVP.
Haha nice. Yeah BrM has some sneaky plays for pvp. :P

@@funkycow49 yep. The spell could be so much better. But alas, it's hot garbage. Lol.
It’s higher dmg single target than TP atm
@@flippmogaming1 I use it on big aoe packs for shuffle uptime I guess lol but you use tp to reduce brew cds
