My Quilt Tells an Epic Story: 100days100blocks Challenge 2023, A Gorphell's Tail

- Greetings All ! In this video I show the process of making my 100days100blocks challenge 2023 with the pattern "Maple and Eucalyptus" by Karen Brown (Just get it done quilts) and Ange (Gnome Angel).

I chose to use this quilt to tell an epic story; each quilt block was posted on my Instagram page with a caption that details the next chapter of the story. The story also unfolds in this video, but the whole story is on my instagram page:

I learned a lot from this story: This old chick with the patience of a gnat can, in fact, watch every second of a 59 minute vlog. Dave has mad quilting and storytelling skills. I have a new favorite quilt.

The 100 days challenge makes me think that it would be really fun to do a 365 day challenge where you make one quilt block every day of the year and then put it all together into a quilt. I love the story too! So fun and creative!

You may have missed your true calling as a story teller! On the other hand, this might be the most original quilt video I have ever seen! Thanks! (BTW, I finished the most boring part of a quilt - hand sewing the binding - while watching and listening and the time flew. Of course, because you are beyond time and space!)

You have a wonderful way of making up interesting stories; plus, you also make interesting quilt blocks. Did you ever write any juvenile books? Part of your quilt top could be used as the cover of a book. I love cats. I love your black cat quilt top.
I found it a lot of fun watching you make your blocks and tell made up stories to go with each block. I'm 75 years old and I still read a lot of Juvenile books (I'm retired from a Library and I still substitute teach). I'm sorry if I have offended you.
