Yessss 😂 we had too many zeros and there was a reform to remove them. Hold on to that note! Very rare now!

Bribes: as someone in the U.S. currently waiting on government health insurance to be approved, I would appreciate this means of ensuring something gets done efficiently. I think in the U.S. we dont' like bribery because that is in the realm of the rich and powerful, but we do wish we had access to it ourselves. It occurs to me, maybe the police were chasing you away because they expected a bribe from you? Your 'large camera' indicated you would be an easy touch?

I’m thinking about living in Maputo for a month to see if I like it. Do you have meetups there? What is the status on lockdowns currently?
I haven't heard of meetups, probably because I'm local. There are expat groups on Facebook for sure. Curfew is 10pm these days. Coming to test the waters is a good idea!
