Here’s something to try Dom. I too love fishing for KG’s as I live in SA. I love squid baits as well and cockles but they’re super expensive. I now use bits of chicken breast, cut up into bait size pieces, put them in a glad sandwich bag and pour some tuna oil in to marinate them. Leave it an hour or two before freezing your packets and take them out you have bait ready to go and the whiting absolutely adore it. The only bait that I’ve used better is razor fish hearts sliced thin. These work magnificent as well. …. Try the chicken though mate. It’s cheap, easy and your bait is ready to roll straight out the bag. No buggering around 👍👍👍👍

What a magnificent session on the water…..glad you are back out there….The gummy is really sort after in Vic waters and is a staple in the fish and chip market. The King George is also revered in Vic and one of the most tasty fish. I am not going to leave out the flathead as the “sand flatties” over this way are one of the sweetest tasting fish and a welcomed bycatch when chasing whiting. Thanks for sharing Dom.

Hey BRO try the mullet in wet paper good you can put them on the fire scales guts and all..Give us some tips to catch mullet sea run better than snapper or flathead.A kilo plus mullet cooked in the oven at 150 c the best

If that’s where I think it is anchoring is prob not a good idea, could be some serious boom boom 😂. The pink symbols indicate a no anchoring area, check the navionics note, it’s over the land just near there for some reason.

do you use Navionics paid on mobile phone, my subscription just ran out the other day and it went from $30 to $90 a year. But it gives you a lot, multibeam data around Aus as well as satellite view for sandy areas. I use It to find spots and fishing, it gives u a lot more info than the sounder does

They need to make the legal size 30 to 35cm for KG. 28cm is a joke, the fillets off them are so damn small.

Get rid of the boot and exercise at home or work just gentle a little more each day.Never seen good outcomes from the boot never repairs use it or lose it
