Mr King, Each time I come back and visit you playing this song it blows my mind. There is only one way I can explain what you have done here with that music. You give that music a physical body, you literally bring it to life. it's absolutely incredible what you did with the music. You are a true master artist sir.
I'm not a religious person by any stretch of the imagination and I love this song. However, I'll tell you what...this was the most beautiful piece of steel guitar music in a video I've ever seen/heard. So much heart, soul, and feelings put into playing this song. When my grandfather wasn't driving truck he would always play some steel and this was one of his favorite pieces. Very beautiful, made me choke up a bit! :)
@@jamesshanks5938 , you don't have to be "religious" to feel God's presence, just open to His voice. Sometimes I think "religion" gets in the way of our relationship with Him. Religion to some is just a series of rules. I don't fit most people's little box, and I can't prove to anyone God exists, but I know what I feel. I can't explain it, can't prove it, I just know. Music like this touches a part of my inner being, and I know there's more than what I can see or read or prove.
Something put all this shit here, ain't no fuckin way all this matter you see around you while reading this, just went "BOOM, I'm here" from nothing. look at the veins in your wrists, now look at trees, Something created us from a common theme.
@@lilgoku7018 "If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain." (James 1:26)
What a wonderful talent and gift God gave you! What a beautiful way to honor God. Absolutely amazing! I have been watching a bunch of your videos and I can watch and listen all day while Im at work. Awesome talent! My father played the steel and its always been a dream of mine to play.
I was shivering with pleasure all the way through and can't wipe the huge grin off my face. That's some beautiful manipulation of this fine instrument. Well done, well done.
I am no longer where I once was but every now and then I need a gospel fix. Things change and reasons don't matter but no matter my current beliefs or lack there of music like this brings a measure of comfort to my weary and troubled soul. Thank you
Zane, I don't know if you remember me or my brother, but my brother found this Amazing Grace Video because we were playing it or my father's wake. he played Steel guitar himself for many years. You and him have very close to the same styles. I wanted to come in and personally thank you again for what you do and what you did for our family. You let us play YOUR Amazing Grace at his wake. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! From the bottom of not just MY heart, but the whole family's. I come back to this video every year and play it and play it and play it just so I can remember how my Dad played. as I'm crying finishing this, I just wanted to let you know that you are an amazing man and very blessed! THANK YOU one more time, Tim Gaume
Hi Tim! It's good to hear from you again. This always is a blessing to hear how this version of Amazing Grace connects you to your precious memories of your father. I'm glad God could use this is that way. May God continue to bless you and your family. Thank you.
I feel some pain behind your playing of this song. Bless you and what you have done for us. I hope you have a great night. For the 82 down thumbs, ignore them, they are ignorant potheads!
Your playing amazes me so much that I'm going to build and play a steel guitar now. I'm already a violin, guitar, and harp maker so it should be very easy for me to construct. My wife overheard this song from the living room, she loves the sound also! This was my mom's favorite song also. I have a collection of 98 instruments and this is the first song that I learn on any new instrument. To me, being able to play an instrument is a gift from God, so to honor him, I play Amazing Grace always!
Goodness. I've heard of getting into it and "feeling the music", but WOW! You really get that body, head, eyes, mouth cringing, etc, into it dude. I hear ya.
fabulous version of this song. I get teary eyed whenever I hear it for 2 reasons It was played at my moms funeral in 1998 My dad, who passed away in 2009, used to pretend he was playing the steel on the kitchen table. He loved the instrument as much as I do.
Hi there! From London, England where this instrument is rarely found/ heard. This beautiful rendition of a classic tune was tear jerking and heart warming. Please make more like this.
Awesome; You fill the bill my grandfather (a gifted musician) taught me that if you couldn't make your instrument sing & talk you were just making noise. He couldn't read music but could play any instrument especially if it had strings. Taught me the fiddle till he passed away when I was 8. Wish he were alive today to give me pointers on the guitar.
zane, absolutely beautiful, the expressions mentioned only mean that you are soulful and passionate about your music god has anointed you in this way ,I love it anthony s hall
