@@DorianGroup82 hey coach ur stream yesterday rlly motivated me. I spent my own money that i saved up to get to a gym i kind of lied about my age as well to em😅 they believed me lol . So i entered the gym first i worked out done some plyos and upper body work i also never tested my vert before so i was curious and i got a box jump of 36 inch im wondering does that mean i have a 36 inch vert or nah . I was there for hours i took a good few shots then at like 4:30 pm my mom called me home i went to the gym at like 12:00pm . I rlly didnt want to go home but i did anyways there were a few jerks in the gym tho just messing around. I got picked for a 3v3 dropped 16 against some lads . I didn't want to be like a softie but every drive i got fouled the f out of but i wanted to be respectful to my elders😅. Now im currently broke hopefully my mom could pay for me the next time ill be able to go is probably next week if i do extra chores alright coach peace out
Intel is the most important component of the player evaluation process. Evaluating the talent is the easy part. A lot of times when a team misses on a player, it's rarely about the talent. It's typically about things off the court things that teams don't know about until after they draft him. It could be family issues, it could be his circle, it could be he's more concerned with chasing women. It can be a number of things. The key is to have strong enough relationships that you'll get the real story on the kid
I want to grow and train my son in a Christ centric environment, so that's the best character and values you can seed in young guy. If Nik grows like that my heart will have full peace and confidence that he can be amazing teammate, friend, co-worker, coach...whatever. character goes first but you should have role model for it and Christ is the best for it. Real champ
Love your breakdowns on high school prospects. A couple guys I feel that have potential and with flaws are Dylan Harper and Ian Jackson. If you could do one or both of those guys would be much appreciated. Keep up the great content💯
I won courtside tickets to a Pistons v Spurs game once. I am yelling as I would normally, and after a whistle Rasheed walks my direction looking at me like STFU, and then gives me the most beautiful smile. Of course I backed off ha ha... 🙂
People ask me if my son does love basketball? He is an ordinary guy who loves video games if you give him joystick or ball he will choose first, yeah he is 11. Love comes from experience and interaction, my task as dad is to let him experience the best game. Let him get in love with it. It takes time and effort. Thanks coach, amazing experience and wisdom that you share with us. Love it
I appreciate that Fletcher. I’m looking to do 1 per week right now. They take a lot of time and research. I have more coming. Turn on notifications on this channel so you can know when they drop
I saw your Cooper Flagg breakdown and let me ask you this...if he works on the things you mentioned, what's his ceiling? What 's his player comp? Awesome content btw.
I think a modern day Andrei Kirlenko with deeper outside range is how high he can go. All defensive guy. 2x all star max. A 4th or 5th option on a championship team.
@@DorianGroup82 I think a Kirilenko comp is pretty spot on, I also agree with him being a 4th or 5th option, maybe a 3rd option on a mediocre team. If he simplified his game I could also see a better version of Nic Batum. Regardless, that's not a #1 pick. Keep doing your thing, and thanks for responding.
There’s a difference between loving the game and being obsessed with the game. I think many teams would rather players be obsessed with the game because then they can control the player to an extent. A player that’s obsessed with the game has no life outside of it and will always toe the company line because they don’t want the game to be taken away from them. A player that loves the game gets their work in, gives 100 percent in games and practices etc. Basically taking care of the game first while still making time for their family, friends and hobbies while staying out of trouble.
@@leaving10pins44you’re right, Jordan had an obsession with competition not necessarily Basketball Lebron definitely loves the game more than Jordan but I disagree with Jordan just gambling, despite gambling Jordan still had an insane work ethic Barkley has expressed this aswell
@@leaving10pins44 You don't have a clue what you're talking about. Jordan was never getting drunk before no game man. Stop with that bullshit. Nobody out worked MJ. Just because he liked to enjoy himself off the court does not mean he didn't give 100% on the court. Ask anybody he played with and they'll tell you he was the hardest working guy on the team. You Lebron fans are not fans of the game, you fans of Lebron and that's sad
1000% facts. I've vetted his name, and everyone has said he was just the assistant to the assistant coach. You have to be smoking crack to think NBA scouts were reaching out to him directly
IF HE WAS SUCH A GOOD COACH OR RECRUIT WHY ISN’T HE COACHING OR RECRUITING NOW? He’s on RUclips best and only way for someone with no voice to be heard🤷🏾♂️💯. He told on hisself that he doesn’t have NBA CREDENTIALS and honestly won’t lying like he’s so plugged in but can’t get a job even as a recruit🤦🏾♂️
They already have video on everyone. Every game is filmed and put on the internet in some capacity. Big time events especially. And most of them have seen guys in person before they call.
Would you say that it is worth it in 7th grade to play on a team that is ranked and plays higher competition, and get less playing time than play on a team that isn’t ranked, and isn’t as good but be the main guy?
In 7th grade, you need to play with a coach who believes in you, is going to be give you a chance to make a lot of mistakes and is playing you majority of the game. If that means going to a lower level, go to a lower level. Play higher level pickup in between. You don’t get better sitting on the bench.
You know it’s really easy to say as a teenager why else r you doinf besides hooping but countless times we’ve seen dudes who go and do other shit rather than go just play hoops. Even recently with giddey, ja, Zion and bridges. These are all young dudes who got distracted it happens. In theory you should be addicted to basketball but not every time so I think asking how much they love it is valid because we’ve seen in time and time again. Of dudes who get distracted or off course
All u gotta do is look his name up and see his resume. Man was a scout for monteverde and has college coaching experience as well. He was also trying to become an NBA coach at one point in his life. So he’s heavily connected. But again, u can google his resume and it’ll shut u up. Y’all only know bruh now because that Cooper Flagg video blew up and y’all thinking he’s a cornball for his analysis but if u actually listened then you’d see it was unbiased, real constructive criticism.

Can you do breakdowns on some of the top five star guards/ top 20 picks in college?
Collier, DJ Wagner, Rob Dillingham, Reed, Jakobe Walter
this class is all over the place would love to know his opinion
i'd love to see a breakdown video ab both rob and reed together
I was going to ask why you haven’t become an agent but after 5 mins in, I understand. You keep it 💯 while an agent has to sell
