      Same. He’s lowkey teaching me how to remain expressive. He knows how to keep people engaged because of that. Above everything, he’s a storyteller.
      He can do those motivational videos (with the right background instrumentation, holla at me😂)

    I can see in your eyes that you love what you do and you’re not in it for the quick buck. It’s refreshing to see. Keep going brother 👏🏾🙏🏽

    Great insight into the basketball side of things. I look after Rugby Union players and its a different ball game to the NBA but same principles. Im an ex semi pro rugby union coach turned player agent (started own company) and have enjoyed every minute of mentoring and helping our athletes. I've found is some agents have made a bad name for the business which is brutal but also rewarding.
    For us, the "care factor" for our athletes come first before anything else!
    Looking forward to watching more of your videos, well done and thank you!

      Praise God through Jesus Christ.
      Working in basketball is more realistic than people make it out to be. Dedicating your time to the craft is essential and giving value to decision makers.

    You mentioned social media. It really needs to get into the heads of players looking for an agent. Dorian has been on this content creation business for a very long time. That matters. Dorian knows how algorithm works, SEO, network, etc. You want to push some videos, having someone like Dorian would be a good help. Content creation makes you a player a star..don't believe me? Look at Max Clark. Max was the 3rd overall pick in the first round by the Detroit Tigers. A lot of why he became so well known in baseball was/is bc of his tiktok, IG, and collaborating with youtubers. Teams don't need to search hard for footage to see how good he is, its already posted.
    Don't miss out of that, agents are also a good mouth piece for players who don't wanna get in trouble but got something to say...

      I appreciate the co-sign and support brother. I didn’t know that about Max Clark. I’m going to pay attention to him going forward. Thank you

      Wherever God has given you time, talent and treasure to build his kingdom.
      “Best” is subjective based on life experiences.

    Even though I don't love your over the top clickbait in your hoops analysis. I will say your insight in the buisness is very useful and great content. I want to be a coach but I dont know where to start in terms of adding to my curriculum, im currently an assistant coach at a local private youth basketball team in my country. But I dont know where to go from there, I dont even know how to get a proper coach certification. Can you make a video about this topic?

    • @DorianGroup82
      @DorianGroup82  Год назад +3

      In America, no “certification” is needed. Whatever level you want to coach probably has some academic requirements. Once you fulfill that, showing up consistently and adding value to a program will put you wherever you want to be.
      The best piece of coaching advice I got was “Get around talent and you’ll always have a job”. Add value to the most talented players in your area. The opportunities will follow.

    Yo great video. No wonder why so many bust and european players took over the NBA. Top 4 players Luka, Jokic, Embid, Antetokoumbo and they will keep on coming. Western players all they care about is the jumpshot 3s.
