Thanks for the video it was a huge help! I was wondering why my seats kept sliding around, but I put spacers as you did.
Awesome!
I did exactly what you showed in the video but one of my sliders on each seat wont move when installing the handle
Both my sets came with hardware taped inside the other side "flap" of the box (all hardware I'm one box). I came VERY CLOSE to tossing them out..I TOOOO had already scavenged hardware from my dealership but swapped it out, also found a black and a white braum decal set lol.
Clarify, I got 4 aeats, 4 boxes, 2 boxes had the hardware fir sliders-to-brackets, they EACH had the sliders individually w/ ea. seat.. hitvplay on your video again at "spacers".. YES they come with 8 billet spacers WITH the sliders-to-bracket hardware bags taped in one box per set
So each set should cone with 8 H6 headed bolts and washers already attached to each seat, 2 Sliders bagged up with each seat as well, then in ONE BOX- There's an additional bag with 8 H6 Bolts,16 washers,8 lock nuts and 8 billet spacers..phew ; took 3 tries to spit that out lol.. the aloha X are my favorite, the elite x were too tight for my 34 waist/44 shoulder, abd the harness holes were too low for my belts to be safe. Never want more than a 15/20° uphill over your shoulders on harnesses. Thats how you crush your spine in an accident. Top of shoulders at bottom of harness holes is A+
Hey man good video! Just wondering what sliders you used?
Bought some Amazon sliders and theh don't match up with my seat bracket. Would prefer not to drill through my bracket.
Thank you!
I used the sliders that came with the Braum seats.
@JoelsDriveway ok thanks man. Mine never came with sliders
That's not good. They should've been in the box. Easy to miss if you're not looking. Contact Braum
Are you able to recline it forward to get into the back seats?
Yes! It reclines all the way forward to the steering wheel.
How stiff is the back of the seat? Do they move around a lot side to side?
Not at all. Nice and firm but comfortable 👌
Great helpful video; but couldn't you find some music a bit more annoying? 😆
I used it intentionally to annoy you sir lol. Thanks for the feedback 👍
9:21 in. .bud, they lay FLAT, WHY IN THE WORLD ALL THESE "HOWTO" videos have all that unecessary stress on the already "not high end" seats stiching is dumb. Not to mention its much easier to hold or pin the nut , and use an impact to send the bolt down (really up) into the slider, all you need is it to bite one thread and you can "send it". If need be you can use a mini pry or that screwdriver for a touchbof tension but your impact will torque that short bolt almost immediately every time. Example : i RARELY have room for a 26-36mm wrench to hold the nut inside a Mack/Volvo frame rail, but here i am having zero issues bolting up steering gears and pto accessories. Airline, battery, or body brackets thru them with an imoact... just a make it simpler/easier thought. Maybe its not fir everyone but how to's should have multiple ways thrown in. So your welcome? Lol very pretty seats tho, elite R?
@beasyphone yea they're the Elite series. I wouldn't worry about unnecessary stress on the seats, do you see how these things are packaged? Literally two seats on top of each other in a small box being tossed around in a truck. The stitching will be fine. Also, whatever method works for you is best. Not everyone has an impact in their garage. Appreciate the feedback 🙏
