Thank you😀! I took to Google and found the book you mentioned. With my very very very limited comprehension of French, I flipped through each page 1 by 1 until a saw a section with a title in which the only words I recognized (sort of) were: Pommade/Contre/Visage. Hmmm....🤔 Grease/Against/Vison???? Thanks to Google Translate it was: Ointment Against Face. I then typed in the other words I didn't know it and it translated to: "Ointment Against Facial Wrinkles". I then painstakingly typed the passage into Google Translate. Below is the original followed by the translation:
Prenez suc d'oignons de lis blancs et miel de Narbonne, de chacun deux onces, et une once de cire blanche, que vous ferez fondre d'abord a un feu doux. Incorporez le tout ensemble pour en faire une pommade. Il faut en mettre tous les soirs et nes'essuyer que le matin avec un linge.
Take the juice of white lily onions and Narbonne honey, two ounces each, and one ounce of white wax, which you will first melt over a low heat. Stir everything together to make a pomade. You have to put it on every night and only wipe it off in the morning with a cloth.
      Hope this helps 😁

To combat the onion smell, combine the union juice with some lemon juice , this takes most of that pungent smell of the onion away.
This is my recipe for shower-wash 1 onion 1 lemon and Epsom salts, blend in your Nutri-bullet et voila.
This also works when you want to give your hair an onion treatment and not smell like a sausage roll for 6 weeks.

They actually used tallow not lard.. I know a lot of people think it’s the same thing, but one comes from pig and one comes from cow.. you definitely want to use the one that came from cow which is tallow❤ it’s a natural sunscreen, you can use it on your hair, your skin you can eat it. It’s very healthy. I make my own and them whip it to make it fluffy

I'm vegan so, I'll substitute the lard for coconut oil. You might be interested to know about avocado as an excellent moisturiser. I'm a big fan of avocado...when nothing else softens garden-hands, I seek it out. In winter, when skin has a tendency to dry out it's great, too. I met a woman in her 50's, under a lot of pressure at the time nursing her ailing mother, but her skin was glowing and she used nothing other than avocado. It is messy to use, but I go outside and keep rubbing it in, or just rub in and rinse off. Thanks for your informative videos...I subscribed

    Hi Yasuko.
I came across your videos looking for unintentional ASMR, and your thoughtful and gentle manner fills the bill. So, thanks.
In the meantime I’ll confess that I’ve taken tips from you. I’ve started the thyroid regimen and find it to be as much of an arm workout. At any rate, I don’t see any harm, and I do it every day.
This cream is interesting. I’m not sure what would keep the smell of onion juice at bay, but I’m wondering if adding a few drops of essential oil would help. I can’t imagine it would ultimately affect the intended results especially if used judiciously. And an added technique, as a bonus, might be to switch up scents to keep it from getting monotonous, or even as aromatherapy treatment. Lavender for bedtime, a small amount of peppermint for day, etc. (don’t shiver!)
Anyway, thanks for the great channel and all your work. I’m a faithful subscriber. Best of luck to you.

Yasuko Kawamura Yes, ma’am. Well, for me they do. My triggers are demonstrations, accents, soft spoken narration, and gentleness.
What won me over was the Comfy Rest Pillow. I bet I’ve watched it 100 times, and it’s not because I’m looking for a massage pillow., lol! I should go back to that one, I haven’t seen it in a while.
I’ve found so many favorite and effective unintentional ASMR videos that I enjoy and occasionally I feel like dropping them a note to advise them their high view count may very well be to die to me watching it over and over again!
      But I think I won’t...

Thank you so much for Ninon's secret-you are very kind! I sauteed onions in lard to make my tonic, then worked in some vinegar from a jar of cocktail onions. I've been using this twice a day for 2 weeks now (I saw the recipe on another of your videos) and it works beautifully-the wrinkles that became very pronounced as I came closer to 65, and were very depressing!- are definitely softened, amazing! It does smell of onions, but my husband hasn't even noticed any smell, so it can't be too bad.

I would never tell you not to worry it’s just my spirit I’m just a happy person and I always feel like everything always works out for me. I never really think about it. I am a new subscriber but I enjoy your presentation - you are very pleasant! This concoction reminded me of cold cream so I looked up some recipes and one used the rosewater, almond oil and beeswax (also optional 20 drops of rose essential oil). I may try this as I hesitate to put lard on my face. Think I will try with and without onion juice..

Charity Carr, onion detoxifies, it pulls toxins out of the skin.

I am 72 yrs and I made up this cream but without onion (don’t like smell)and it was fabulous left my face and hands so soft, but I don’t think current rose water is the same as Ninon used. No smell no nada. So I don’t think rose water is necessary, now if someone knows better please let me know.

Thanks ... Incidentally nutmeg prevents skin blemishes but l use the flower as it does not burn the eyes as much as the nutmeg...

Excellent 👌 remedy but just worried, whether that onion juice smell can be tolerated by my hubby☺️
He will run away miles away saying me," Sony, u just keep taking care of your skin, I am going off"!
What will I do then? I think, using an essential oil can solve the problem! I don't know whether LARD is available in India or not.
I have started watching ur videos as I was searching for Tanaka massage techniques, as I was bedridden for few months since May 2019 to August 2019. I used to practice Tanaka massage but due to my illness, I had forgotten few steps, which I learned through u, just a week back n I immediately subscribed it.
U explain very nicely, that's what I loved about u.

There is an organic type lard used for cooking by Spectrum or other brand. Seems it needs to be a fat. Maybe a duck fat better. Check a natural store. Onions have certain properties. Red onion has more. Perhaps that? Amazing test. Thx.
