You say to deal out cards until the total value 20 is exceeded, but the rules state to deal until 'the total is 20 or more'. Hitting 20 would be the lowest stop point, but you are saying 21 is the lowest stop point.
What is the purpose of the reserve? Why not just place the tiles you get directly into your city? Why remove tiles from your city and put them into the reserve? I'm missing something here.
Just watching this today 4 years after your comment and it is really bugging me. Why do people not know to use the word "they"? [edit] Just watched a Watch It Played explanation of a different game to compare - and Rodney uses gender neutral language all the way through - it sounds much more natural and is very easy and clear to listen too.
@@rinkuhero no. Everyone is "they" in German. And most board games are being developed out of the US making English the original language of most board games. You're probably thinking of specifically Eurogames which used to be most often out of Germany, prior to Kickstarter.
8:23 aak! Why is the box teetering so close to the edge of the railing?, It's making me anxious lol

We followed this step by step and found it VERY clear. Got us right into game play. Thank you!
I am #thankful for the clarity in these rules!

@Isto é tudo uma palhaçada thank you very much!
Are you allowed to completely enclose your Ahlambra in walls?
Yes
...although you generally don't want to because then you can't make your wall longer and get more points
Really bugs me when the narrator calls the player "he" even when the player is a woman.
Why use gendered language all through this? At 4:50 it's literally a woman playing and the voice over is still saying 'he/his'.
the green player
i wonder if this was translated from german, the original language of most board games. in german there is no he or she, everyone is he.
