You are 100% right! I’m from the US and I live in the heart of the south (where everybody is trigger happy). When my brothers and I were kids we got lost in the woods behind my house. We were terrified because it was only a few hours before dusk so we were afraid of being lost in the dark. We ended up finally finding a house and we approached it so we could ask the owner how to get home and the second he saw us walking towards his house, he literally immediately pulled out a shotgun and shot at us. We took off running and he drove after us in a truck and shot at us three more times. We eventually made it home safe but it was hours later and the police were searching for us because my mother reported us missing. That’s the kind of bullshit that happens down here. Some crazy person tried to murder five terrified and lost children because we were walking towards his property. This country sucks. 😂
