I know many people will find this stupid, but I sat here listening to this song right now and it made me break down, especially the part "The memory of a day like today, can get you through the rest of your life", because I'm sitting her holding and loving on and spending the last hours with our doggie who we will be having to put down tomorrow afternoon so she won't be sick anymore. We've had 8 wonderful, exciting, happy, love filled years with her. And even though my heart is absolutely breaking right now, I'm so happy and blessed to have had those 8 years full of memories and love that will get us through the rest of our life. Oh man 💙 this past weekend I drove about 7 hours alone for the first time to surprise my Dad. Life is so short, we are not promised tomorrow, but the memories I hold of this last weekend being w my dad is priceless. I'm so grateful and blessed to of been able to see him. 💙The look on his face when he opened his front door and saw his daughter standing there was priceless! I have never seen such a genuine smile w a tear of happiness in my life. 💙 It lasted the entire weekend, as I got in my car to head home yesterday he grabbed the handle and said " I'm not gonna let you leave." He was even asked by the Rolling Stones to play with and open for them. He has been on the cover of Guitar World magazine multiple times, as well. Not many musicians have that distiction. Brad's has such la range of talent in his songwriting. Many times there is a sameness in a songwriter 's music that the minute you hear it, you know who wrote it. However, like Hank Sr., Kris K., with Brad, you cannot. He did a special on PBS, which aired last week, and it was interesting. He always seems so humble, and the older Grand Ole Opry members seem to love him.

However, like Hank Sr., Kris K., with Brad, you cannot. He did a special on PBS, which aired last week, and it was interesting. He always seems so humble, and the older Grand Ole Opry members seem to love him.
