- Marking the first international trip since April, my friend Lauren and I take a SWISS A340-300 in their newly refurbished Business Class on our way to England for a work trip. At the time of this flight, Swiss was one of the very few airlines to still offer their full range of on-board service on trans-Atlantic flights. This being the case, on top of the fact that our flight was very empty, it made for a very comfortable red-eye flight.

I love the way you do your videos. They're relaxing to watch, detailed and informative yet concise. If there's a section I'm not interested in hearing, I can just look at the bottom and skip it-a highly disregarded feature that more informative RUclips channels should start using. Keep it up! 👍🤩

I love that you ask permission to take pictures. Many other RUclips airline reviewer doesn't do that and upload videos without staff and pasengers permission to take their pictures
If you didn't notice, he takes the time to blur out the staff's faces too.
It could be that they do ask they just don't show that part.

Another exceptional flight experience and review. Swiss was absolutely on point (they must take such pride, if any of their teams view this review....)as were the editing, animations and humour! I was going to pick up on the point that Lauren wearing vegan trousers opted for the beef, but this would be old news. Haven't flown with SwissAir but I only have good things to say about them. My boyfriend flew with them last year from Zurich to DXB. Now due to covid, Dubai requires a PCR test which he had but was not translated in English or Arabic so he was not allowed to board the plane. It was entirely our fault for not checking thoroughly but heck.. Swiss air gave him a hotel voucher to stay for the night and even had his flight rebooked ALL FREE OF COST!!!

Flew already the new cabin onboard swiss a340 last year, was quite surprised that they didn't downgraded the service on long haul flight during these time! Nice video as always ;)

Happy that They are still flying & proud to be part of them before. Swiss, on most routes, offers very tasty meals. They’re good at culinary. One of the very few that offered warm bread rolls. They are one of the best European carriers that offers consistent good crew service. As you said & as usual, you’re cynically annoying 😜 it’s in your blood.
I love it when people ask the crew for their permission before taking any pictures or videos inflight.

I flew KLM from LAX-AMS-DXB at the start of September, and their Business Class service is pretty close to normal as well. it was a very nice flight, and equally empty between North America and Europe. Swiss is still on my list to do, though their flight to Dubai was twice the cost of KLM.

Agree completely with your reference at 12:25 to enjoying a glass of Port wine. I had the privilege of enjoying a decade-old Tawny on a Lufthansa FFH-YYZ Business class flight last month and it was excellent for flavour, even at that altitude. If you are a history buff like myself, look up the history of how port came to be located in Portugal, and it’s fascinating connection with the wars between the English and the French. Keep up the effort on graphics, useful time stamps, and the pithy commentary.

I'm a frequent flier on the Swiss Business class, Bangkok-Zurich-Bangkok on their 777s, sometimes i'm lucky enough to be bumped into first!

Your humor really hits the right notes with me. It's by far what makes your channel one of my favorites. I've taken that particular flight couple times while I lived in YUL. Having been previously based in MIA, I just disliked how short the flight was. At least from MIA with an 8h flight you can managed 4-5h of solid sleep. From YUL, I left you get 2h if you're lucky. Arrive in ZRH feeling like a zombie.

I flew Swiss A330 ZRH-DEL a couple of years ago and I remember the seat was hard when fullly flat and no mattress was offered, glad they changed it

Apple Strudel, Weiner Schnitzel, Sacher Torte, just to start… Poppyseed cake. Delicious chocolates. Mozart. Strauss. Haydn, Schoenberg. Although born in Bonn, Beethoven moved to Vienna at 19. Freud. Klimt. Kafka, (in the part that’s now Czech), Marie Antoinette, Simon Wiesenthal.
Salzburg - cutest small city with a major music festival every summer. Vienna - one of the world’s most beautiful cities with plenty to see and plenty to do…I mean right up there with top European cities. The Danube and gorgeous story book towns along its shores. Spectacular skiing. The Tyrolean Alps are gorgeous in all seasons. ( Vienna is a very comfortable train ride to Budapest ). The Viennese architecture - esp early twentieth century. Vienna - a definite must visit city. Great country…
