Vaillant F22 is normally a low pressure fault and Vaillant F75 is normally a pressure sensor fault due to dirty central heating systems or dirt in the boiler.

Well that shield over the flue takes me back ,we used to do that where the rain was getting into the flue .The cement is a fiver at tool station but only three on Amazon according to the initial advertisement which is not always the true cost .Cheers.

If Elliot reads this the cement is on Amazon for about £2.60 a tube in grey or ssand colour. I use it all the time on flues 👍🏻

The F75 pressure sensor fault is usually easy enough to clean out rather than replace if the boiler is newish. Also the cement is only good for one use as it goes hard after a week if even you had a good reseal.

@@AllenHart999 Had crystal clear systems when drained and a magna clean fitted and still those pressure sensors get blocked up with debris. Think it's a poor design or positioning of the sensor itself. Most of the time it’s easy to clean out with a toothpick and some clean water however I carry these as van stock just in case:)

@@AllenHart999 You can guarantee the pressure switch will find the one speck of dirt in the system to get blocked up. Just wish your man had showed how to replace or clean them out as it’s super easy with the side panel off but not so if the left hand side of the boiler is up against a wall or unit.

Lgsr faults let's have go then!
1. I think the ecv is right falling to the off position.
2. The gas should be clipped with munsen rings or possible even tallon hinged clips?
3. Not sleeved through the wall and the damged cable going through is touching the pipe, needs to be 25mm away.
And possibly the gas meters to close to to the fuse board? Can only have a go as a keen apprentice so don't be to hard on me 😄👍

Not sure if this was included in your comprehensive list, the main gas incoming has been lifted out of its bracket and put to the right of it, possible to clear the electric meter.

👍 Good video. LGSR faults = Gas pipes not correctly bracketed, electrical cables (effectively single insulation and highly likely to be damaged - risk of direct short to ground)) passing through brickwork alongside gas pipe.

The only part to be named after the fault code 🤣. Elliott I thought you was very brave to activate the prv. Very brave. One thing I would never touch just incase it dosnt reseat. But on the moist part it's as bad as my pump flaps 🤣🤣👍. I dooo love your videos though. And I do love you put dates on stuff too just like me.

Not even an apprentice yet but, The clips, the ecv (idk ecv looks like its lever falling and turning it off), the wire through the wall that isn't sleeved (at least 25mm away). Oh and there should be 150mm between gas meter and consumer unit unless there is fire protection...

Always find that express cement still need to use yer or trowel never seems to stick very well. Keeps falling out unless you use yer finger🤣🤣

Vaillant f75 is a very common fault on my boiler after changing the expansion tank its been ok as the sensor had bits rubber in it
is it the rubber or just dirt in the system. Thanks

Easier way of testing the sensor is to put the boiler into P.00 purge cycle and you should see a pressure differential of 0.3 bar proving if the sensor is blocked or not. Could also be the pump, but 99% of the time it's the sensor in my experience.

You can just look at the internal gauge and the digital and spot the discrepancy easily.
I’ve cleaned out a few and they’ve worked fine, still had a slight variation. boiler on 0 digital reading .2 but close enough to function properly
@@plumbertime Yes, that as well, but then with some models you'd have to pop the case to see the mechanical gauge and some models don't have a mechanical gauge. Don't want to have to go through 26.9 for a top-up, if I can help it.

How much was the van racking
I think Rick said it was around £2000. Hopefully he will correct me if i am wrong.
The racking was 2 grand, the big drawers and flooring were extra probs about £2700 all in

Allen Hart ok , have a magna clean and lime beater was only replaced 13 months ago. Least Elliot showed some tests to be aware of but really the updated kit should be fitted much less prone to this issue.

It’s a good design. Means your boiler doesn’t dry run forever until the overheat or flow stat kicks in.
Clean your system or buy a few more sensors now as you’ll need them
Plumber Time fair enough system is clean their revised design is better but they don’t fit that surprise surprise , good in principle but such a nuisance fault
