I love swami Sarvapriyananda, his way of teaching is so clear and filled with good humor. I have one question though, Swami seems to interchange the words Consciousness and Awareness often and very fluidly. Does he imply that ultimately they are the same???
I looked up “ there’s only one consciousness “ purposely because the other day I heard someone say,” The body appears inside consciousness “ and immediately I shifted in some energetic way and saw that my body was just inside consciousness. I had a feeling when it happened , it was a feeling of remembering that it’s been like this all along and the human mind is just appearing in this . EVERYTHING is appearing in THIS. I immediately went back to my usual way of perceiving but I will never forget that. It’s right here with us at all times but we believe so strongly that our consciousness comes from the brain that we experience a tension that makes it appear so
But if consciousness is eternal and is all there is why can't we remember what happened before being born? Also, don't you find this terrifying? Like, there's just one consciousness
Swamij sarvapriyananda helped me to understand the mystery of creation and where I fall as a human being and where I fall as an absolute hero 😂 indeed I am. Blessings my Guru

As Existence or Brahman, one does not need a mind to be Existence. This is evident when one realizes that one does not cease to exist when the mind is shut off, as in deep sleep. Thus, as Existence, one is unaffected by the mind, is not dependent on the mind, and remains as Existence irrespective of what seemingly happens to the mind. Because Existence cannot be objectified by the mind, we cannot express what Existence is through words and such, which is why we say Existence is “beyond the reach of words and the mind”. However, just because Existence cannot be known or felt as an object (i.e., “something”) using the mind, Existence cannot be falsified because Existence is you and you are not non-existent. Ergo, nobody can tell you what Existence really is. It is for you to realize what Existence is, and Advaitic teachings provide guidance on how this could be accomplished.
