You need to cool down boys - "Ghost River", from Wacken 2013 (same concert!!). More ping pong between Floor and Marko. And Floor is 2.6 meter according to herself on her yt 🤣. About being addicted to the songs.... Sorry, that is definitely unavoidable - you will have to live with!! I have around 104 favorite Nightwish / Floor songs - depending on mood and so. Floor has been doing windmills since she was 8 - 9 years old, and have actually been teached by a physiotherapist to do it the prober way, so nothing happens. Am a huge fan of this band and a huge metal fan since 1976. And I can tell you that Nightwish is right up there as one of the greatest metal bands ever. Hell forget metal, one of the greatest music bands ever. Can't go wrong with these folks.
I've been a fan of Nightwish for 20 years, and I just have to listen to them at least once every single day. Great reaction guys, I've absolutely loved it (the proof is : I listen to every reaction video of Nightwish but usually never comment them, except for this one). For future reactions, one of my favorite Nightwish song is Ever Dream (live in Wacken 2013, same concert).

On first listen to Nightwish almost every reactor/reactoress your age (which is mine, too) is saying something like: "Where have I been my whole life?" And that was what I thought, too, beeing at this Wacken Festival and never heard of them before. But as you can image, I am a fan ever since :-)

Floor, throughout her career, has allegedly always worn 6" heels on stage, giving her an impressive 6' 7" height when performing. But she has very recently said that turning 40 is telling her that the heels are no more. She said she will be wearing flat soles on stage from now on. No matter. Her voice is still otherworldly.
Great reaction again. Continue your Nightwish journey. Dont forgot do some "hidden gems", song that havet never played live or played very rarely. Some about my favorite about these gems are Beauty and Beast(Tarja Era), Turn loose Mermaids and The Grow, The Owl and the Dove.(Anette Era) and Edema Ruh and Decades in the Sun(Floor era). They have awesome songs that some reason haven`t fit to set list.

Nightwish takes me back to the great alt rock groups of the late 60's early 70's. Anyway, like you I am going to see them in October. The Wachen 2013, is a concert of perfection. Each and every song was a gem. Everything. Well worth listening too in it entirety. The group. the sound, the vocals, and crowd and of course FLOOR.
Haha yeah, only 12 songs left from Wacken. And Wacken is before Wembley, Tampere, Buenos Aires and the fantastic new songs they couldn't play live because of Corona. And then all the other songs of Floor, the older ones with Tarja. 😊 If you want to do a sneak preview with one song to get an idea of what is coming up, I would recommand "7 days of the wolves" live from Wembley. Mind killer 😂 - and sooo different to Wacken. Maybe a good idea to discover the NW universe. And please have a look to EPICA "Rivers". 2nd unbelievable female vocalist in the universe. Next to NW the best Symphonic Metal Band of the world.

Hi once again chaps - very glad to see this one pop up on my feed! As you said in one of your comments replies, Nightwish grow on you! I can't remember ever in all my 53 years so taken by a band so quickly, in that for example - that must've been the 1000th time I've heard Romanticide but I'm not bored of it and neither of any other songs - and I get such a kick out of looking at facial reactions and of course coupled with our wonderful British humour which not everyone understands - but it's a tonic for me personally speaking. One thing a lot of reactors say is how different the songs are - which is something I now love. When I was a youngster going to see a very young Iron Maiden or whomever - I would be quite happy to listen to power metal for hours on end - but then you grow musically and want something different and I feel NIGHTWISH provide that diversity. I mean if you wanted to hear a beautiful ballad - 'Sleeping Sun' is the go to. If you require an angry heavy number then it's 'Master Passion Greed'. I hope you are still with me as I can go on a bit, but I'm very much hoping that you can cover our fellow Englishman Nightwish member Troy Donockley who plays all things wind 😆 - they all do an instrumental called 'Last of the Wilds' which is a great Celtic/Folk Metal number. I did the same thing as you two; a more "seasoned" gentleman hearing Nightwish for the first time earlier this year and falling straight down the rabbit hole. I talked my wife into taking a trip to Boston to hear them later this year. She has no idea what she's in for.

It's hard to pick a high point in that concert, because all the songs hit it out of the park. "Song of Myself", and "Ghost River" are really great. Highly recommended.

Looking forward to getting there as keeps being recommended. We are not watching anything until together and ready to record
Floor, throughout her career, has allegedly always worn 6" heels on stage, giving her an impressive 6' 7" height when performing. But she has very recently said that turning 40 is telling her that the heels are no more. She said she will be wearing flat soles on stage from now on. No matter. Her voice is still otherworldly.
My sister is 6.1" without heels! she alwys had a hard time being so tall but it seems Floor enjoys it!

Great reaction again. Continue your Nightwish journey. Dont forgot do some "hidden gems", song that havet never played live or played very rarely. Some about my favorite about these gems are Beauty and Beast(Tarja Era), Turn loose Mermaids and The Grow, The Owl and the Dove.(Anette Era) and Edema Ruh and Decades in the Sun(Floor era). They have awesome songs that some reason haven`t fit to set list.

Nightwish takes me back to the great alt rock groups of the late 60's early 70's. Anyway, like you I am going to see them in October. The Wachen 2013, is a concert of perfection. Each and every song was a gem. Everything. Well worth listening too in it entirety. The group. the sound, the vocals, and crowd and of course FLOOR.

Haha yeah, only 12 songs left from Wacken. And Wacken is before Wembley, Tampere, Buenos Aires and the fantastic new songs they couldn't play live because of Corona. And then all the other songs of Floor, the older ones with Tarja. 😊 If you want to do a sneak preview with one song to get an idea of what is coming up, I would recommand "7 days of the wolves" live from Wembley. Mind killer 😂 - and sooo different to Wacken. Maybe a good idea to discover the NW universe. And please have a look to EPICA "Rivers". 2nd unbelievable female vocalist in the universe. Next to NW the best Symphonic Metal Band of the world.

Hi once again chaps - very glad to see this one pop up on my feed! As you said in one of your comments replies, Nightwish grow on you! I can't remember ever in all my 53 years so taken by a band so quickly, in that for example - that must've been the 1000th time I've heard Romanticide but I'm not bored of it and neither of any other songs - and I get such a kick out of looking at facial reactions and of course coupled with our wonderful British humour which not everyone understands - but it's a tonic for me personally speaking. One thing a lot of reactors say is how different the songs are - which is something I now love. When I was a youngster going to see a very young Iron Maiden or whomever - I would be quite happy to listen to power metal for hours on end - but then you grow musically and want something different and I feel NIGHTWISH provide that diversity. I mean if you wanted to hear a beautiful ballad - 'Sleeping Sun' is the go to. If you require an angry heavy number then it's 'Master Passion Greed'. I hope you are still with me as I can go on a bit, but I'm very much hoping that you can cover our fellow Englishman Nightwish member Troy Donockley who plays all things wind 😆 - they all do an instrumental called 'Last of the Wilds' which is a great Celtic/Folk Metal number. I do hope you can cover this soon. Best wishes to you both and look after yourselves

I did the same thing as you two; a more "seasoned" gentleman hearing Nightwish for the first time earlier this year and falling straight down the rabbit hole. I talked my wife into taking a trip to Boston to hear them later this year. She has no idea what she's in for.
