2016 Jeep Renegade 4x4 Review - Inside Lane

This is the 2016 Jeep Renegade 4x4, of which is actually the brands first compact SUV. Sporting bold looks with those iconic round headlights and vertical grill it is visually a unique car. This example is in Limited trim and is powered by a 2.0 litre diesel engine producing 140bhp as well as 350Nm of torque. A 9 speed automatic transmission sends this to the Renegade all wheel drive system. 48 MPG combined is claimed.
It might be a small 4x4 but the 2016 Jeep Renegade can still hit the rough stuff. Off road it is very impressive with various traction modes and hill decent control. There is plenty of torque and a 4WD low range mode means climbing obstacles is easy.
Rear occupants have plenty of space and there is a usable 351 litre boot.

I've owned wranglers, grand Cherokee and just bought one of these a couple weeks ago. And these little run good in the Snow and mud. Absolutely love this mini jeep.

My step dad has one of these it has a roof rack and a snooker ball on the ariel. I'm so glad that I'm not just the only one that likes this car. Great review.

Good review and nice to see you are comparing it against like for like unlike the people in the states who for some reason seam to always compare it to a wrangler which is just crazy.i have owned mine for 9 months now and must admit I like it more each day I own a 4x4 diesel one and despite the trip computer telling me I'm getting 32mpg (will get them to look at that when it gos for service) if I work it out old school way I average 40mpg but most of my runs are shortish and back roads and seams to be getting better the more miles I put on it.
