Nice one Sam, good to see these changes, would welcome them doing something about the custom area now too and the baggage. Looking forward to seeing the changes when I next visit in December.
This is a long, overdue improvement. Last year, when I was there, the chaos ,poor and limited restroom facilities. And the loitering at the entrance, sellers and pushing made the airport more like a ghetto. I welcome the information and the growth.
I'm all for change, but with changes comes expenses, which generally affect the public. Happy for the ambulance. I think some of those improvements will make it a lot easier to navigate.
Travel Sam...is the A 380 bigger than the 747s that once grace the MBJ tarmac? Another question...why aren't they building a multi level parking garage at MBJ?
@@garfieldwhittaker944 yes the A380 is bigger ,it is the double decker. I would love to see multi level parking also .hope they see the need. Thanks for watching
Hey Sam?, say you rented a car and you are going back to the airport, do you still go the same way before you drop off the rental or is there a different way?
The renter car agents are located close to where you make that left turn to departure, and they normally make arrangements to meet you for drop off anyway.😊 Thanks for watching.
All this development at the Sangster International Airport (MBJ) has nothing to do with Andrew Holiness Administration ⁉️😂 The Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay, Jamaica was privatized and leased to a consortium in 2003 by PJ Patterson
I agree with you Montego Bay does need some hospitals 😢 Montego Bay needs 3 1000 bed hospitals and a meaningful improvement to Cornwall regional hospital from 250 bed to 1,000 bed hospital.🏥
@@waynemcfarlane1233 The airport was not privatised, it is still the asset of the Jamaican people. However, just like most airports around the world, Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico was awarded the concession to operate it, and it is managed by MBJ airports Ltd.
Not going to happen. It was already absorbed into Caribbean Airlines. And with their country falling into debt the chances of getting back Air Jamaica are very, very slim.
I enjoyed the video about the improvements of Sangster airport, but what about the Norman Manley Airport, it is in great need of improvements, especially the washrooms, don't just cater to Torists, please bring this to the attention attention of the Minister of Tourism, thanks.
The airports and the hospitals have nothing to do with each other. The airports are being upgraded by the company that has the concession to operate them, so the money is not coming from the government.

We are NOT GOING TO HAVE ANYTHING. We are ONLY GOING to be the WORKERS on the island. The majority of the money being made on the island is owned by foreign corporations and MOST of it is being taken out. The camera movement is too fast, slow it down.

That’s what is working on now.
Thanks for your comment
What kind of phone are you using for the video? It's very shaky. Anyways, it's a great video overall, and I hope you keep posting

I must say, the PICA passport system they now have makes entry and boarding 30 minutes quicker!!!
Great 👍
Hope they change some of the staff tools specifically around baggage claim had bd experience with them no professionalism
Yes and they also need to do some changes on one's who take care of the bags as they steal my brand new bottle of perfume out of my suitcase.
The drainage system needs improving. Observe puddles all over the place.
God the Father is here in Sebring Florida
I don't see MBJ getting an A380 at anytime soon.
Please tell your Prim Minister to Urgently Fix all the Hospitals First Very important to the Citizens of Jamaica and Visitors.
