    Anyone who wanted to see more Grixis Delver and Czech Pile over someone casting Armageddon and delivering the most modest of beats needs to take a hike, because this was a delight.

    wotc needs to bring back legacy to the pro tour. you can sit at the table and face a card you've never seen before even after playing for 20 years. its variety and skill requirements makes it the best format of all. anyone who played mtg for over 10 years knows this, and if he didn't have the chance to play it, he certainly craves to do it. the price barrier isn't a good excuse to hold it back. you can put together a competetive deck in legacy for about 1 grand, which, afterall, isn't much more than what the avg mtg player spends for standard or commander in a couple of years. the fact that legacy doesn't help wotc selling booster isn't a good reason to hold it back. in the long run, the beauty of it will help keeping a lot of players into the game, while they would probably get sick of it if they were only able to play standard as competitive format. I know I'm dreaming but it's a nice dream so let me have it

    44:56 Happened to me too once played elementals tribal in legacy. I cast Reveillark. The opponents sighs picks up the card reads it. puts it down. Picks it up again and reads it quick then puts it down. Says ok resolves. End of my turn he plows it...(read it twice). I say ok i get 2 guys from my GY. He Quickly picks up the card again in confusion and kinda shuts "Ohh then i should have FoWed it!". And i just "Thanks now i know you have a FoW you can cast".

      Hans Günter because she plays chalice of the void on 1 consistently. Presumably also because cast out deals with cards like ensnaring bridge, Jace, Lily and worship which are super awkward if you don’t have any pressure out

  • @jordanlloyd4586
    @jordanlloyd4586 6 лет назад +5

    Fairly sure he lost the game when he equipped Jitte and didn't attack, he had dismember with ancient tomb to kill thalia heretic cathar, he does go down to 3 for that but Jitte will get 2 counters, he doesn't definitely win after doing that but he can put a lot of pressure on her with jitte after that point

    • @DiabloTommaso

      jordan lloyd I guess paying life hold him back

    • @michaelkrumholz9497
      @michaelkrumholz9497 6 лет назад

      Activating Jitte would have an additional tax due to suppression field, and the tombs cost life so he would gain nothing from the activation.

    • @jordanlloyd4586
      @jordanlloyd4586 6 лет назад

      Michael Krumholz but she didn't cast it until 2 turns later, and even if she had cast it a turn earlier her board is still hugely down from the attack, plus dismember and the first couple of jitte activations. on top of that he does have 3 lands that tap for mana that aren't ancient tombs. and her life total is pretty low so taking a turn off casting 1 big ceeature or 2 small ones is pretty bad for her. again he doesn"t definetly win but not attacking was a mistake.

    • @galidou99
      @galidou99 6 лет назад

      The first turn he could attack with the Endless jitte, Chantelle had all land untapped, he feared selfless squire. The turn after the palace jailer cast, he should definitely have attacked. He was holding back waiting for all is dust mana and didn't wanna lose his creatures, hoping she would attack into a jitte? Surely not...

  • @RoxyGotMoxy.
    @RoxyGotMoxy. 6 лет назад +3

    Literally the only other card I wanted to see in Chantelle's deck: Darien, King of Kjeldor. Maybe it's just me but I could see that card actually doing some pretty major work. Take one turn beating from a Tarmogoyf, then chump it and attack with the remaining soldiers for the next like... 5 turns.

  • @NinjaScholar

    • @tudo4451

    • @xandermoore9119
      @xandermoore9119 6 лет назад +6

      Gond Disqualification is specifically only for cheating and being generally disruptive/hostile. GRV to start with, game loss when it becomes a pattern.
      Disqualification would completely invalidate her from the tournament and put a black mark on her dci, which is not apt punishment for missing triggers.

    • @HessianHunter
      @HessianHunter 6 лет назад +7

      When players make mistakes, judges are supposed to catch it and make the player do what the rules necessitate - in this case, pay the Suppression Field tax. Those kinds of things are never automatic DQs. If you go to attack with a God when the God can't actually attack, you don't get disqualified, you just are in your declare attackers phase and don't get to attack with the God. If every missed trigger was a DQ, half of matches at any event would end in DQs, which would be absurd.
