In 1973 Impalas featured a larger, shock-absorbing front bumper The chassis was tweaked for better road ability, and new square taillights were mounted in the carry-over rear bumper. Impalas were now all closed body styles for the first time in the nameplate's history. A 350 CID V8 with a 2 barrel, backed by a Turbo 350 transmission. This baby has earned the name of a land yacht with the 121.5" wheel base. You just cruise right down the highway. Just imagine the amount of people you could have snuck in the Drive In back in the day. This vehicle was first purchased in Greensburg Indiana. It has spent most of its life in Indiana until it was purchased a few years ago from an out of state buyer.
