Enjoyed your video. I just came back from the Channel Packery in Corpus Cristi and on the South side of the two jetties, the Sheepshead were biting in quite an abundance for everyone there. There some who were catching some Reds as well. Everyone was using live shrimp with no corks. Most effective rig setup was the one without the swivel and that barrel weight strait on above the hook. Some used the Carolina rig but not as productive as the rig setup without that swivel. Just incase you might wanna go there for the ride and enjoyment of catching them Sheepshead there.

$12 for a pint. They scoop up the shrimp in a pint sized cup.

If you were to replace “sheepshead” with the word “hard head” then I’d buy the statement. 🤙
hiding your hook in your shrimp .. and using just a splitshot to ovoid any tension when they bite can increase your hookup ratio a whole lot when the bite is tuff but they are there

Simms Flyweight boots with HardBite cleats. Rinse them with water afterwards.
