This is genuinely one of the best versions of One Left I've ever seen, if not THE best one.
The fact that this is OLD is insane. Amazing work!
Edit: Also like the idea that Papyrus would give some final words to Sans other than "I believe you can change the human" and then immediately dying. Would give a reason for sans to be absolutely LIVID instead of just being more angry that you killed his brother a second time.
I'd like to imagine that the only thing that's really keeping him together when he starts melting is his unchecked rage and anger. He knows the human won't change. So he's going to give this one last fight everything he has. No excuses. No laziness. Just fighting with everything he can throw at us while trying to not give up.
i imagine its also partly from the fact sans knows he probably wont get another what seems to be 1/infinite chance to put an end to you ever again
so he really just has no reason to not give it his all

Меня поражает то, как музыка, имея бодрый ритм и включая все те моменты, за которые мы все любим оригинальную "Мегалованию" Тоби, при этом пропитана ощущением отчаяния. Тяжесть тревоги, энергичное желание остановить врага, которое, несмотря на все усилия, кажется напрасным - всё это легко выражается в песне. Переход в начале (от 0:53 до 1:15) показывает то, как сдерживаемые ранее силы полностью отправляются на бой. Наверное, можно сравнить с теми чувствами, которые появляются глубоко внутри во время напряжённого матча: все твои товарищи устранены и остался лишь ты один. Времени мало, сил почти не осталось, но решимость в сердце разгорается пуще прежнего.
То, как в некоторые моменты позади Санса появляется силуэт его брата также помогает понять всю глубину отчаяния, которое в этот момент берёт верх над всеми ощущениями нашего смеющегося мешка с костями. Страх того, что может произойти, будь он хоть немного медленнее; вина от того, что Папайруса убили по его небрежности, прямо на его глазах; глубокая печаль и невероятная усталость сливаются в то, что давит на скелета во время битвы
Впрочем, бой продолжается. Человек, конечно же, не желает сдаваться, поэтому у Санса невольно проскальзывает мысль о том, что его невозможно победить. В этот момент он серьёзно о чем-то задумывается, словно ему в голову пришла идея, которая может сработать, но является очень рискованной. Этот момент можно проследить в замедлении и общем изменении настроения мелодии (2:34). Идея же появляется в 2:44 , но малую вероятность успеха тот понимает, из-за чего в 2:52 становится мрачным. Мелодия уже не такая проникновенно-печальная: становится ясно, что глубоко внутри он уже принял решение и готовит силы, чтобы предпринять свою последнюю попытку
И вот, кульминация (3:07). Последняя атака, последний порыв, на который он тратит все силы. держа свою форму до самого конца, тот всё-таки под конец начинает плавиться - решимость, которой он всё больше наполняется, хоть и убивает его, но даёт шанс противостоять настоящему монстру
После этого рывка он чувствует грусть. Он понимает, что остался единственный способ справиться с человеком, понимает, что это потребует от него заплатить страшную цену. Санс вновь вспоминает брата, улыбка на его искажённом лице становится печальной. Он понимает, что подобное количество жертв просто обязано дать плоды, поэтому в 3:41 он отбрасывает все сомнения и, улыбаясь в последний раз улыбкой, которая еле держит форму, исполняет то, что они изначально хотели сделать - запечатывает душу человека в сосуде из дворца Азгора. Мелодия с этого момента не содержит никакой печали - лишь решительность, которой и вызвано всё это противостояние.
