Country isn't my go-to genre, but I fell in love with Jake's voice from watching "The Voice." It's so rich and full; a pleasure to listen to.
It's amazing that more people don't ask her to duet with them, but as
Pink said in the past, she's intimidated by her. Which, is weird because Kelly always holds back when she sings with other singers, and downplays her vocal. It would be amazing for them to do a song together.

Oy, I've been waiting for this! When I discovered this song, I came looking for your reaction, knowing your love of big displays of musical passion. I saw something that made me think you'd reacted to it already, but maybe it was in transition from your old channel to this one, so I'm happy to see it pop up. The look on your face when Kelly belted that last bit was PERFECT! Gives me goosies every time. I have to think that look on her face was very real emotion thanks to her POS ex. It hurts me to see that look of complicated emotions; disappointment, anger, frustration, pain ... I think this all too relatable for her, unfortunately.
You probably know by now that Jake Hoot was on Kelly's team on The Voice and won that season ... 2 or 3 seasons ago? I rooted for him on The Voice, follow him, love his voice and he seems like an incredibly nice guy. I'll buy whatever he puts out!
Can't find a reaction to this from you, but have you already done, "Sound of Silence," the cover from Disturbed? If not, and you aren't familiar with it, check it out, please. It's incredibly powerful. There's a live version on Conan that's amazing, but I really like the video better for the intensity of the visuals that support their interpretation of the lyrics. Deep. And unexpectedly beautiful and impactful. Would love to see your reaction to that, the video if possible. It's intriguing. ❤

Jake Hoot won on The Voice. He was on Kelly's team and he won. Please listen to them sing Wonderland on the finale of The Voice on season 18, I believe. You will DEFINITELY love that song too!!
Jake has put out a few songs. One of them is Tennessee Strong. I cried with the devastation of what happened in Tennessee. Then when Jake wrote about it, I cried even more.
Jake and Kelly Clarkson need to write an album together. They sing beautifully together. It's a duel made from heaven itself. Please react to Wonderland. It will make you cry. Kelly didn't even know the song before she sang it with Jake on the finale of The Voice. It was sung in December. But when they sing it together it was dynamic. It's a song about someone dying and the effects that it had on someone's soul.
Kelly can sing with anybody and make them sound wonderful. God has blessed Jake and Kelly both been blessed by God with a beautiful voice!

I think their live version is better. But jake has shown he is a great song writer.
