- Hi everyone, I’m more than pleased to share with you this video on how I traveled over 5,346 miles to visit my fiancé in Norway 🤗.
It was my very first time on a plane, flying out of Kenya alone. I can’t even describe the feeling. The take offs and landing made me a little nervous. Since I was traveling during a pandemic wearing of masks was a must unless you are eating. The two Qatar airlines had a wide selection of movies and music on the flights. The flight attendants were nice and friendly 🥰.
My first flight from Kenya to Doha, Qatar was 5 hours20 minutes from 1:25am to 6:45am. It was a cool flight and we landed in the morning just when the sun was rising. I had no time to explore the airport as it was so big and I needed to move to my next gate Asap!🚶♀️
My second flight from Doha to Oslo, Norway was 7hours 10 minutes from 8:10am to 13:20pm. We enjoyed several meals on board including breakfast and lunch, Snacks were also served during the flight. This flight was basically empty. You sat where you felt like and how you felt like 😎.
SAS, my last flight from Oslo to Bergen was short and night so not much happened. We landed in Bergen after 1 hour and the temperature was -6degrees (the lowest I have experienced in Kenya is at least 10degrees). Seeing him standing there waiting for me with a bunch of roses and a bottle of baileys made me realize that the pain of parting is nothing compared to the joy of meeting again. Distance unites missing beats of two hearts in love!!!💓
I understand that it is an uphill task to get a visa to Europe therefore, I will do a video on how I went about getting a Schengen visa to Norway and I believe it will shade some light to anyone interested in applying for a visa to Europe 🤗.

Waoh.....Bergen is so so beautiful........i live in Sweden and sometimes visit Noway (OSLO AND BERGEN)those r some of my best places in the world and i have travelled around Europe,Skandinavia and U.S........

Hi Carol, can't someone be granted a visa or travel outside your country without the jab?
When applying for the visa I did not need any covid certificate to show that I am fully vaccinated but at the airport they asked for the covid certificate and also I needed to take a PCR test

How long did your visa take , plus i think the fiance/spousal visa would've been better
After applying for the visa I waited for around 1 month for processing. This was a delay as my traveling date was approaching hence i called the embassy and they informed me their was a hitch in their system. They told me to go back and have the biometrics redone at the VFS Nairobi and it was treated as an emergency case. The following day i received my passport back with an approved visa
I used the visitors visa as I had plans of coming back to Kenya to complete studies

Are there any foreign language certificates required for someone to get a Schengen visa ?
For tourist visa there was no foreign language certificates. For instance, for Norway visa application, the documents should be either in English or Norwegian language
