The Clash - London's Burning [Live]

Death or Glory, the UK's newest and youngest tribute to The Clash performing London's Burning live at Turnpike Gallery in Leigh, 10th February 2024 as part of the Pete Shelley Memorial Campaign's Rock Against Hate event. The event, featuring a Buzzcocks tribute and ska band Skafull was for Hate Crime Awareness month, with the view of recreating the original Rock Against Racism events from 1978. To mark it, Death or Glory played the exact same set that The Clash played at Victoria Park in 78

The rhythm guitar tone is a custom-made all genuine fender parts telecaster, hand relic’d buy an incredible guitar maker in Kent. For a custom touch, it has a four-way telecaster switch, and an S1 switch identical to what you find in the fender Baja telecaster. it achieves a humbucker kind of tone, and is very high output. From there it goes directly into a Boss TU3 Tuner, and then into a blackstar HT 20 club head and nothing else.
There will be a video at some point in the not too distant future detailing at length both the build of the Guitar, and the tone achieved through the amp so be sure to look out for that.
