I agree with Ox in the sense that Hakeem and Jokic are closer on offense than vice versa but nobody on any side of the ball is as good as Jokic is on offense. With the skillset, ability, consistency and variety; theres just no one coming close.

Nobody said he didn’t deserve it. They said Colby deserved it more cause Tyrese was already an All-Star caliber player. He just didn’t have the opportunity. Colby went from being a 8-9th man rotation player to being seen as an essential piece to a rebuild. Just because you say someone deserves it more doesn’t equal the other doesn’t deserve it at all.
He’s averaging 5.5 more points on 5 more shots and 2 more free throw attempts. Did he improve or did James Harden get traded? As a Sixers fan I think Tyrese was close to this good last year he just didn’t have the opportunity he does now.

@@Doggydogworld289 what has changed significantly? He was one of the best shooters in the league and one of the best at attacking close outs last year. He still had his textbook reverse lay in his bag last year. He’s made marginal improvements to his game as most young guys do but I just don’t see him as a MIP in a league with Coby White. Lavine went down which did give him more opportunity similar to Maxey but to me you can see he’s improved way more than Maxey has. In my mind Maxey had much more improvement going from his 1st to his 2nd year. He went from a questionable shooter to one of the best shooters in the league over the course of a single offseason. I didn’t see anything close to that level of improvement from him this year. Although I will say I do like his defense more.

D’Lo had the worst series you could ever imagine from a point guard last year and almost every game came to the wire. I’m not changing what the role players did but I’m just pointing out how many shots Bron missed that would’ve been a cakewalk for ‘18 Bron.

LBJ would be able to control the speed of the game as well, be more aggressive scoring wise, he definitely playing more defense and would be able to sustain his level of play a lot longer.
