well, our founding fathers knew people would always act in their own best interests, which is why they gave the Federal Government a very limited set of powers listed in our conteact called the US Constitution, until the US Government broke the agreement we call our Constitution and its only gotten worse in the last 163 years. Are you really united if you had to be conquered? Is that truly a binding agreement when 1 party to it does not agree but is forced into it by threat of force? In order to get the states ro agree to join initially, they were given 100% control over who could vote and how the states allowed voting to occur, think about it, how much power over your life are you willing to give to a far away entity and what would you expect in return. Initially, the federal government was accountable to the states, and now it's been reversed to all of our detriment

If the lawmakers are in charge of the budget for the government, can’t get it together and make it work and the government freezes and stops. It’s governance, then so should their paychecks immediately as well as all benefits and use of any funds for anything they do. Therefore, if they can’t govern their next are on the line as much as anybody else’s paycheck in life is…. If the government shut down right before Christmas and those a holes runoff and celebrate Christmas, they should all be charged with failure to operate in their respective positions.

    Buried in the massive central
    government spending bill: Section
    605. which would shield Swalwell.
    Schiff, Cheney, and others from
    further investigation.

Not true; the actual bill has no Section 605. Read pages 295 and 296, where it skips from Section 604 to Section 801. Yes, H.R. II is available to read.

Dumping a 1500 page BS bill to a 116 page bill. They sure don’t need a raise. Shut down the government. Start over.
