I remember “Carolina Today”, of course, but there was a news show, perhaps the weather and farm report? Daddy was a farmer, and always watched in the early morning . I recall the theme song which featured trumpets playing a peppy morning song. I’d love to know its name. I seem to recall a rooster..

I used 2 watch Carolina Today every morning b4 going 2 school. Slim Short was great & Diane Bowen was indeed gorgeous. Jim Woods doing the weather n even the sports was great also

70 years. Wow. I used 2 live in a small town in NC with my grandparents(on my mother's side) & I could think about over a million memories of watching WNCT TV. Mostly watching the soap operas with my grandmother from watching carolina today b4 going 2 school every morning. It so many memories of watching WNCT CHANNEL 9
