In the beginning of the movie it showed the car doing a 180 and leaving the bulldozers! I wish they would've showed he made it to San Francisco!!!!!!
He wasn't leaving the bulldozers. In the full movie he does a 180, sees multiple cops, and flips back around.

this was a thing in counter culture type movies in 60s 70s. didn't the biker movie easy rider do a similar thing.
