most difficult to find appropriate words for this Cult Classic --- may I attempt --- well beyond brilliant in every aspect, simple plot, extraordinary direction --- none equal ever !!!
Thanks for the memory., I’ve been wanting to see it again. I saw the flick when it had originally come out along with the original“Gone in 60 Seconds”. I own a 73 Challenger
ohh ohhh ohhhh ----- well beyond bloody brilliant - all aspects of the movie - the Car, Barry Newman in particular but all those involved === redefining a Cult Classic --- never to be equaled ................................

well beyond bloody brilliant +++++ ... well beyond a Cult Classic +++++ ... Thankyou --- Kowalski Rules !!!
still love that leg pull as Kowalski pulls up to get his goodies at the biker bar in Denver.
Love this car to pieces. Love the movie equally. Dodge Challenger FTW.
I remember I loved its rhythm and the start and end in the small town with the arriving bulldozers. Delaney and Bonnie introduction, well.

A drive-in movie if there ever was one.
The flash backs, are where the angel of death was waiting for him. Played by Charlotte Ramping.
Thankyou very much.🎉
Did the Cuban Guillermo Cabrera Infante write the script?
He did, yes
In the beginning of the movie it showed the car doing a 180 and leaving the bulldozers! I wish they would've showed he made it to San Francisco!!!!!!
He wasn't leaving the bulldozers. In the full movie he does a 180, sees multiple cops, and flips back around.

@@timfitzgerald1035 Yup. Ialso found the clip... Ah... Thanks.
this was a thing in counter culture type movies in 60s 70s. didn't the biker movie easy rider do a similar thing.
Or, for those of us not ADD afflicted... we'd actually watch the movie.
