Great video chief. Makes me wonder from the US side if your house is 120v and 220v combo can it work with our solar systems. I plan on ordering is a SunGold 450W MONO PERC SOLAR PANEL FULL PALLET (32 PANELS) But what kind of inverter and battery etc.
If you need 120/240 buy a split phase inverters to give you both conversion automatically. If want to use both ECG and solar system as pass through, buy a hybrid with split phase inverters. If you think ECG is useless and don't want to use it, buy Off-Grid with split phase inverters. If you want use all heavy load items in the house, buy Low Frequency Inverters with transformer inside. If you want use less energy loads, buy high frequency inverters. Sungold has both inverters and batteries as well. Otherwise there are LF brands like Victron Energy, Schneider Growatt, etc Some HF brands are EP Cube, Teslar, Sol-ark, Luxpower or EG4, Sungold power etc. Remember, like any other product, you get what you pay for. Victron Energy Is expensive for a reason, they'll still be working for you even after 20 - 30 years
They have Bui dam too , Ghanaian leaders are too lazy. I can’t believe how clueless they are. They are so incompetent to the core, the thought the previous government were. Infact it’s about time Ghanaians move away from these two parties and bring in a third party.

Hello, we use solar combine with electricity here in the USA which is really cheap in summer time, but it runs on electric. I will like to know, in Ghana does it runs on electricity or it stands by its own power source?
For a private home 1 acre😮..of panels would be way overkill. 10 400 watt panels will give you 4000kwh of charging power which is sufficient for a 1 family home. Double that and you should definitely have no problems. I recommend a 20-30 kwh battery bank and at least 1 wind tubine to provide additional charging night and day. I find the The Istabreeze brand of turbines are excellent and reasonably priced. Especially the heli models.

That money can buy you a 30kva in ghana, which can power more than 6 Ac and all your home electricals.

Most people combine both ecg and solar. Those with higher financial capacity are able to go off grid completely.@@adwoaboatemaaofficial

My solar water heater is amazing. Water is too hot even. Glad I have cold water to mix it up

Yes or on a high level structure - that is at least the height of the house so water can flow easily. But to save cost, on the main house roof.
