What is the music when the two are dueling in the beginning? (the purple and blue sabers). Also great video... this is incredible! It's like watching a dance almost, everything is so fluid and precise.

Sono di Ravenna e qua è da anni che si pratica light saber, è bellissimo entrare in palestra e vedere le katane affiancate alle armi di Star Wars, nonché la facciona di Yoda sullo stemma a fianco di Ueshiba (fondatore dell'aikido).
Premetto che il discorso è puramente tecnico, ma se esistesse un affare del genere, a cosa servirebbe caricare il colpo da dietro? La lama non ha massa, ergo l'accelerazione non conferisce più forza in punta (cosa sfruttata nella spada vera), cosa poi inutile dato che il colpo è fondato sulla "bruciatura" del laser. Le rotazioni sono molto scenografiche, ma da un punto di vista tecnico risultano una perdita di tempo enorme, nonché un lasso di tempo sufficiente a farti partire via un braccio da uno che sfrutti l'occasione.
Sarò stronzo io, ma più che una ricostruzione di un possibile modo di combattere nel caso esistessero, mi pare un "come conciliamo i movimenti fighi delle coreografie con un modo di combattere?".
Ciao! Non pretendo di conoscere gli stili avanzati, ma ti posso garantire che il Soresu, che prevede diversi movimenti in cui il corpo ruota, è maledettamente efficace come stile di combattimento. Ed è anche molto tecnico. Se ti capita di passare a Milano, dove diverse classi lo insegnano, vienici a trovare, sarai il benvenuto. Un saluto e un abbraccio! :)

Such a shame that there is this distance with star wars... This Italian names of techniques are very strange and break a bit the charm of the discipline. From one point there is the distance from the Jedi and all links with star wars and from the other side there is the belt ranking, costume, weapon .... The name ludosport, doesn't seems correct for it... The teaching of fence techniques is nice though, it was a great training with the Paris school ! ;)
