these speakers like as *hit, but sound so good :)
3 months ago, my T6100 developed a non-controllable loudness syndrome. Imagine while you were listening to a song, a 2 year old grab the volume control and messed around with it. So sad the T6100 is probably the last decent 5.1 surround sound speakers creative is ever going to make. (The new T6300 is a joke. 1. The front left and right does not have tweeters. 2 Speaker cables are way too short. 3. Centre speaker is supposed to sat horizontally not stood vertically obstructing views. 4. A newly added power saving feature that can kick on every 15 minutes even you were playing music.)
At the end, I bought myself a Logitech Z906. Wasn't too happy the Z906 dynamic range (absence of tweeter), so I replace Z906's Front, Left And Right with T6100's front left and right. The old T6100 got revived!!!
Hey i had the same issue 5yrs back, it's just the volume control knob issue. I had to replace it with one from local shop, original knob is not available. U can search as Linear Volume Control.

Awesome.. i own this one from past 10 years.. recently it has started to giv a problem.. the volume is fluctuating randomly.. from normal to high to low.. without touching the vol cv

The best 7.1 is creative s750 gigaworks...It hurts that it is no longer sold.

I purchased this 10 yrs ago, still working.. Also i removed the controller form front right speaker and kept it inside a separate box. Right now i'm looking for a way to bluetooth enable in this.. Please let me know if u have any idea
You can get a Bluetooth receiver. For example Blitzwolf bw - bl2 or tp-link ha100 are some good choices.

I like how Creative makes all there speakers instead of using off the shelf speakers like Logitech uses. But the one thing I can't stand about creative is how some of there speakers turn off after a few minutes. I wish they had the ability to switch this off.

I have these....the subwoofer is clipping no matter what frequency you make it play and it starts around 100% on the PC and 30% on the speakers
maybe you play good bassy music :)

Because this is just one of the things that it clips at...or it clips just because my model is 14 years old...but it's not like clipping like amplifier sound distortion but the sub just hits the bottom of the magnet and it sounds terrible
Four years later. The subwoofer hits the bottom of the magnet with its coil. Either the amplifier is too powerful for the speaker or the port on the front is letting too much air out and making there be no air pressure inside. It doesn't matter what I play at all. It always does it even on minimum bass.
My creative 6100 low volume output .I raised volume control at maximum level but it just like sound as 3watt Bluetooth speaker.Anybody have any idea
