  • “Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady are done ... TMZ Sports has learned the supermodel just filed for divorce from the NFL superstar.” Yup, that's the way it usually goes, the woman in the vast majority of cases, initiates the divorce.
    “A study led by the American Sociological Association determined that nearly 70% of divorces are initiated by women. And the percentage of college-educated American women who initiated divorce is even higher, as high as 90%.”
    In attempting to explain the disproportionate amount of divorces initiated by women many, in error, respond . . . “Well, that’s because men are physically stronger and the women have to use their legal option for divorce because they are almost always the abused party.” Although that does happen in particular instances, it is not at all the statistical norm.
    “A 2006 study of physical and psychological aggression revealed instances of minor aggression initiated by men in 23.3% of the cases, while there were instances of minor aggression ignited by women in 33.8 % of the cases.”
    “Women also lead the men in cases of severe aggression, with male-initiated aggression in 8.4% of the cases and female-initiated aggression in 11.5% of the cases.”
    “In relationships where violence was non-mutual almost 70% of the violence was perpetrated by the woman. In other words, in almost 7 out of 10 cases of mutual violence, the batterer was a female.”
    “Women who participated in mutually violent behavior with their male partners were more likely to display a pattern of repeated violence than men. Men’s violence was more likely to be isolated and unlikely to be repeated.”

    Thank you for sharing this, I have been hoping for a Christian voice for issues concerning the Manosphere. I grew up when women taking spiritual leadership roles in the house and the men having all the responsibility without authority. All responsibility with no authority is slavery and this is the sad state of men today. I do see women speaking out but it’s a minority

      Malachi 2 proves Malachi 3:8 is talking to the thieving Church leaders. It is the answer to end covid and almost all ministers now know when they return the money they were never supposed to take for ministering then God will throw open the floodgates of heaven and end covid.
      But the thieving church leaders love money so much they would rather continue taking the money knowing every time they do they kill more people with covid. Talk about evil.

Anyone that deletes the messages sent from the messenger of Malachi 3:1 rejects Jesus and will automatically die with the wicked. Matthew 19:12 Eunuchs that are born that way are transgender. Eunuchs made that way by others were abused. Those that choose to live like Eunuchs for the sake of the Kingdom of heaven or bisexual people that choose partners of the same sex but opposite in regards to gender. Male or female is determined by gender located in the brain. Anyone that says any different and anybody collecting money for ministering is now blacked out from the holy Spirit and part of the Great Tribulation that began September 1st. They will remain blacked out until they repent and accept truth and return the money they were never supposed to take or they will wait too late and die with the wicked.

      “In relationships where violence was non-mutual almost 70% of the violence was perpetrated by the woman. In other words, in almost 7 out of 10 cases of mutual violence, the batterer was a female.
      Furthermore, mutually violent relationships were most likely to result in injuries to women. Men’s violence was more likely to be isolated and unlikely to be repeated.”

      “According to 2015 research from the American Sociological Association (ASA), women initiate almost 70 percent of divorces.”
      If you think this gender imbalance only applies to heterosexual relationships, think again. Same-sex marriage has only been legal in the U.K. since 2014, but a 2017 report from the country's Office for National Statistics found that 78 percent of same-sex marriages that ended in divorce were between two women, indicating that women today might have higher expectations for marriage than men in general.

    Well, I must say, this is an outstanding presentation. Though I have a somewhat different theological perspective, I think Pastor Joel is spot on regarding the current state of Evangelicalism. Additionally, I fully agree that many--perhaps most--evangelical pastors are cowering in fear, too intimidated to confront Christian women.
    I have been a pastor for 46 years and now serve in a staff position in a mega-church. My primary responsibilities are assimilating newcomers/new believers and teaching men's ministry. Though we have seen excellent growth (numerically and spiritually) with the men; other staff pastors consider my teaching to the men as problematic. In fact, many of the wives of our men desire to hear for themselves what I present at our men's studies. The key factor is that I teach about the moral content of the New Testament. However, even that has become problematic because it is seen as "too political."

    I think it was Randy Carlson on Focus on the Family that first brought this to light about 15 years ago. In his counseling session with couples and on the call in radio show, he noticed that over 80% of the time, the men were the victims of abuse in Christian homes. He then consulted with other counselors and found that they were seeing similar numbers, yet no one was talking about it. The men felt embarrassed and did not want to initiate help in the vast majority of cases. It was only after careful prodding and questioning were the counselors able to get the men to open up about the abuse they were receiving.

    On the issue of multiple services, I think it's important to distinguish between multiple services in which an individual or family is only expected to attend one (e.g., 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 morning services), and multiple services where an individual or family are expected to attend both (e.g., morning and evening services). On the latter, while I don't (yet) agree with my pastor that it's the normative biblical practice as adapted from morning and evening sacrifices, I at least see it as being permissible based on that model. I can accept the former if it's a temporary situation where the congregation are providentially hindered from all meeting together for a time--say the congregation have grown too big for their facility, and you're building or buying (or looking to rent) another building for that purpose. But as a permanent thing, at a minimum, I'd say it's bad practice--doubly so if the services differ significantly from each other.

    Joel this topic is second only to the defense of the true gospel and perhaps part of the defense. The marriage is the building block of church and civil society and a picture of the gospel. Emasculated husbands and masculine wives is not the picture of marriage as a type of the gospel, but of Eve’s desire played out in history. The husband is a type of Christ in the marriage, but he often is neutered and even fragged by the church and feminists alike. The wife as a type of the church is elevated over her husband a picture of a submissive Christ. In this respect complementarianism and egalitarianism are not just destructive relationship advice, but heresy in the type that projects to the antitype.
    Thanks for giving voice to this most needed of topics.

    I’ve been admittedly consuming too much RP content.
    I am divorced. My ex-wife was a single mother when I married her, she was severely abusive to me. She cheated and left me for another man. They both cohabitate with my only child. I don’t have custody and I pay child support. The last time I’ve had sex was 6 years ago with my then-wife.
    The Christian pushback against the RP has been outright nauseating, delusional and enabling of continued female misconduct. It makes me question the validity of Christianity often. I’m horrified that ATHEISTS have to defend men like me AGAINST CHRISTIANS.
    But as angry with God as I am for unfair treatment I wish I could still want him in my life.
    It’s refreshing to hear a religious face speak something more than shallow lip service and canned platitudes to my experience and the experiences of countless other men.
    I wish I had a church nearby that I could trust.

      It's because Jezebel runs the Western Church and pastors are cowards who DARE not confront her. THEY choose to submit to her. It's completely unbiblical. Jesus Himself addresses the Church of Thyatira which tolerated the Jezebel Spirit and He had VERY harsh warning against it.
      The Word is True, Let God's Word be True, though EVERY man be a liar.
      God is Good and He IS Truth, but sadly the western Church doesn't follow Him. But you have the Bible, study it, pray daily with Him, and Pray that He will bring some Godly men into your life for fellowship.

      I've got 4 kids. At 1 yr I lightly popped the butt and at 2 I would do it harder/multiple times. It's meant to hurt a little. Also I only ever use my hand. If it's a particularly heinous incident I never increase how hard I whoop or the amount of pops, I add to the whooping with timeout or taking toys or TV or whatever. Set clear rules and boundaries. For example if you do this I will spank you for it. And if you do this I will not spank you but put you in timeout but if you go to timeout for the same thing 3 times in a day then it's going to be a spanking every time after that. Also, I talk to my children a lot, usually ill bring up whatever incident they got in trouble for later and talk to them about it, tell them why it was bad, why they shouldn't do it, what the Bible says about it, and what would happen if they were an adult and did it. Also there are things that are wrong that they don't get in trouble for unless they keep doing it after I tell them to stop such as interrupting. If I tell you 3 times to stop interrupting then you'll get a timeout. Just make sure the punishments fit the crime and are consistent.

      There is no Biblical mandate to spank children. The only argument I’ve ever heard worth engaging is the rod verses in proverbs which can be taken apart really easily. It’s not a command. It’s just not. ESP not for girls (in the rod verses, the word for child is na’ar which meant young adult male 🤷🏻‍♀️)
      Discipline means to teach. I highly highly recommend reading Hold on to Your Kids by Gordon Neufeld and learn about child development.
      I never spanked any of my kids and they are amazing 🥰. It’s not a necessary thing and it is almost always counter productive/will make everything harder in the long run.

    @12:38 The sin by women as described is not only NOT rebuked or condemned, it is actually rewarded by our legal system. If a man hits a woman, he goes to jail for domestic violence. If a woman hits a man, she does not. If a man is hit repeatedly by a woman and he strikes back in self defense, he goes to jail for domestic violence.
    In the divorce hearings, a woman is almost never reprimanded for her violence. In the divorce, she is rewarded with excess financial awards by the courts. I have heard women in restaurants discussing divorce and saying "I don't need him anymore. I don't want more kids. I'll get as much money from divorce as I get now, so why should I put up with him?" I have heard that theme repeatedly.

    On your remark that “you can’t really love women if you are unwilling to call out their sins”, which of course you’re right on (as is the reverse surely) & it got me thinking. If pastors & priests exclusively tailor their sermons to praising all women always, and regardless of their behavior, they are by default depriving & attempting to re-distribute the glory that rightfully belongs to the selfless God-fearing wives, mothers, & women among us. But if all women are deemed righteous, spectacular, & pious, then how could the wonderful Christian women such as your wife, Lori Alexander, & my Titus 2 grandmother ever truly be special? According to their own distorted logic, these women cannot be genuinely unique or admirable, even though these women should absolutely be acknowledged, praised, & celebrated. Like, and are we really to believe that all the women in the pews are all equally as amazing as the Christian women who were martyred for their unwavering faith in Jesus Christ during the fall of Constantinople or the Armenian Jenn-oh-side, ridiculous. I commend you Pastor Joel for calling this nonsense out, it takes a lot of courage. God bless you and your family.

    I’m a lady here. The unbiblical divorce and remarriage situation is something I’ve often wondered and have read various pastors take the stand you take. I don’t understand how unbiblical divorce, followed by an unbiblical marriage (now adultery by remarriage) is not a state of ongoing adultery? Would that be similar to a spouse cheating once and committing adultery that one time as compared to a spouse who is in an ongoing affair?
    If a believer has divorced unbiblically and remarries, wouldn’t it be that believer’s duty to go back to their original spouse and work on their original marriage? I don’t see why not

    • @nerychristian
      @nerychristian 5 месяцев назад

      I was unsure about the biblical view of remarriage. But as I began to read the new testament, I began to notice that the only time there is mention of a woman getting remarried, it is when they are referring to widows. I think there is a passage where it talks about if a unbelieving man leaves his wife, she is no longer under bondage to him. But it doesn't mention that she can remarry.

    • @cryptojihadi265
      @cryptojihadi265 3 месяца назад

      @@nerychristian That's what not being under bondage means. They are free and therefore CAN remarry. Notice he tells the virgins, the unmarried and the widows to stay as they are, IF THEY CAN, but if they cannot, they don't sin by marrying.
      Now virgins are people who have never been married, widows are those who were married but their spouse has died, so the unmarried, would be those that used to be married, but no longer are. That's the only other group left.

    • @cryptojihadi265
      @cryptojihadi265 3 месяца назад

      @@nerychristian That's absurd. Jesus IS the word. So, Paul's writings ARE in the Bible and THAT is the Word. The Word doesn't contradict itself. Jesus was dealing with a specific question from the Pharisees who were talking about putting away, which is no more a divorce than people today just being separated.
      Paul goes into MUCH more detail about the marriage relationships and ALL the things that can go wrong and how to deal with them.
      God wouldn't allow people to do something in the OT that is a sin in the new.
      It's the putting away or sending away WITHOUT a certificate of divorce, that God hates. The men were just kicking their wives out and not going through the official divorce process so they she COULDN'T remarry, just like two people who today get separated but not divorced can't marry.
      So because of this, women were forced into adultery or prostitution to survive, as women didn't have careers back then. They HAD to be with a man to survive. Without a certificate of divorce they couldn't legally marry again and therefore, those were the two options for them.
      The idea that Jesus would DEMAND the innocent party stay single, something both Paul and Jesus admitted, few could do, is absurd and a classic case, of people not being able to understand context or taking one passage of the Bible without looking at all the rest, as if it's even POSSIBLE for one passage to address ALL possible issues.

But you have pushed it to the extreme. In our church we have a biblical counseling center. Our biggest counseling problems have come from households modeled like you discribe. The women are abused by a husband who uses his Bible to hurt his wife. He doesn’t love her, he rules her from everything from the friends she has to the money she spends on food. It is a great place for men like that to go for affirmation. This is sin. The man is not loving his wife like Christ loved the church. It’s is a prime place for narcissism to develop. We have Narcissistic Behavior Dissorder growing in leaps and bounds. So sad to say goodbye but I must.

I have seen multiple dozens of examples of abused men and women. Christian men using the Bible to justify controlling their families. Abuse happens by both genders. He's failing to understand that women's violence is in response to the aggression of the man. He's also borderline victim blaming. It's terrifying to hear this misogynist spout this BS. I kept waiting for him to spout how the TV show The Handmaid's Tale is an ideal to strive to emulate. Listen how this supposed shepherd turns to the use of violence. Im how can a woman be expected to submit when men aren’t really able to fill their role. Do you realize how much responsibility that is? I’m not a feminist however I’m also not about women subjecting themselves obediently to men that dont know how to rule with the love of Jesus. There is a lot of emphasis on women being the problem here at least that’s is what I’m hearing on this video but that doesn’t seem right. Men are just as much a problem or more . And this problem is written all over in the Bible like how Adam didn’t protect Eve. Look how God had to use Deborah to lead the men because there simply wasn’t a man who could lead. "17Then to Adam He said, “Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’:
    “Cursed is the ground for your sake;
    In toil you shall eat of it
    All the days of your life.
    18Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you,
    And you shall eat the herb of the field.
    19In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread
    Till you return to the ground,
    For out of it you were taken;
    For dust you are,
    And to dust you shall return"
    Most men (not all men, just as not all women), complain of work. Why? Struggle in work is a consequence of man's sin. It's going to be tough. "Man up" already, men! Just as women have had to "woman up" during birth labor.

    Joel...you are right in spirit on this topic...But I'm afraid that even you aren't aware of how much unbiblical egalitarian assumptions you bring in your own analysis. Go to the 1hour mark in this video. You assume that a woman has the right to divorce her husband if he lies sexually with another woman.
    There is nothing in the Bible that supports this.
    Jesus tells us a man has the right to put away his wife if she commits adultery. The woman does not have that right
    Essentially the mans duties in the marriage covenant are different than the woman's duties in the marriage covenant. JUST LIKE God's duties to His people are different than the duties of the people.
    The essential elements of the husband's duties is protection and provision. The essential elements of the wife's duties is sole Fidelity to her one huaband.
    This is why a man may divorce his wife for sexual unfaithfulness while the man is free to have more than one woman so long as He provides and protects. See Exodus 20:10.
    United States Law actually recognized this fact as late as 1937.
    Thats when women got the right to divorce due to "adultery".
    Less than 100 years later our culture cannot tell men and women apart.
    Joel, you have unwittingly been indoctrinated into unbiblical assumptions. Let the Bible speak for itself instead of imbibing traditions.
    When we equate the primary duty of the man and the woman towards one another, we have already begun the slide towards egalitarianism. It starts at the fundamental level.

She wasn't asking him to stop getting drunk or sleep around, she DEMANDED that he give up his passion or she'd leave.
