Thanks! My 2004 Frigidaire washer which has been trouble free until the past few months it "thumps" quite a bit on the spin cycle. Thinking about replacing it was one of these LG washers. A appliance repair guy I follow on RUclips likes LG, does not like Samsung.
Interesting....Most reviews are negative on every appliance for good reason: Awful service is universal not a LG exclusive. Haven't seen leaking as a problem. Usually that is an installation issue
I just purchased the LG 3400 CW. I tell you I am not up on technical products. I am having a difficult time trying to master a load of clothes. The manual to me is confusing and I have talked to the help people and everyone so far has a different way of handling my questions. I need hands on, show me person. I am going to keep trying.
We are mainly considering this one because we have limited space and desperately need a front loader as our washer and dryer located behind cabinet doors in the dining room area and it needs to be quiet. Top Loaders just won’t do anymore for us. All of them are so load!
No actual problems are ever described, notwithstanding what it says in the introduction. There's merely a mention of more advanced features of more expensive makes or models.
WDP4V is what im looking for, none to be found, guess they might be re engineering it because of all the complaints about not enough room for soap bottles,,,

Thanks for the detailed info. But a large percentage of the product reviews are negative and complain about leaking and awful service with LG?

I have it, it’s not quiet but it’s not as loud s as a top loader for sure
